What car category is a CHEROKEE ?

Hello everyone...maybe someone can clarify this question....and let me know
under what category the CHEROKEE is under. We fly in 24 days ...and I have a Mid SUV booked ( should be a Chevrolet Equinox) , but I am in doubt with the size of the trunk, with 2 adults and 2 children ( no stroller..no car seat necessary)..will the space be enough in the back ? I hate to drive BIG BIG cars, so the MID suv seems like a good idea.

Here in ITaly I can't seem to find a car similar to the Chevrolet equinox...! ..I do not know what to look for since they do not have them here !

Which car hire company? The reason I ask is they have different groups. With Dollar it is a full size SUV.

The car company is NATIONAL !..I will see if National has any thing similar in the FULL SIZE category !

Looking at the National site their full size SUV is a Durango but that would be a bit bigger than a Cherokee. BTW Cherokee is standard size SUV with Dollar!! A standard SUV with National is listed as a Chevrolet Trailblazer, and looking at its picture very similar to the Cherokee.

I really don't like the TrailBlazer's, so we always make sure we go for the Grand Cherokee at least. Make sure that you don't inadvertently select the "regular" Cherokee since these are really small.

Thank you all for your replies and for having taken time to research my question !!! I really appreciate it ! I have looked at the cars and the Standard SUV is 150$ more than the Mid size SUV...now it's just a matter of deciding what I really want...

Alamo has much higher prioces than National....hopefully I will be able to find a discount coupon as the date apporches !

In the US, the smaller Cherokee, the Sport, is called a Liberty. What we know as a Grand Cherokee is just known as a Cherokee over there with only the very luxury model known as the Grand Cherokee.
