What can you tell me about Cape May Clam Bake?

Cape May Cafe is a Disney Classic. We have been dining here for years. There have been many changes, but right now, it is about as good as it has ever been.

A must-stop if you eat seafood (Crab Legs, Clams, and Mussels, and Shrimp)

Don't bother eating here if you don't love SEAFOOD!

Be prepared to work for your dinner. Lots of work getting the crab out of the shell, and dipping the clams in butter.

Happy Eating!!!!

Thanks to all who posted on this thread! We ate there Monday night and I can truly say it has been the hit of the trip so far. Even my DS16 who does not love fish really, REALLY enjoyed his meal. The rest of us were in seafood heaven.

I enjoyed our meal last Wednesday a lot. I think I could have eaten 12 Oreo bonbons. And lots of mussels.

We ate at Cape May for dinner our past two trips. Our oldest is a huge clam and mussel fan and my dd loves shrimp so this buffet was a big hit with the kids. The food was good. Not great, but we all left satisfied. The oreo bon bons were very good!!

We ate there in 2007 and it was great. Went again in 2009 and it was the most disappointing meal of our trip. Not because of the food quality, but because of the lack of food on the buffet and the crowd. Maybe it was a bad night. We were in the first seating and couldn't make a second trip around the buffet because of the non-stop crowd. And the specific items we looked for were empty. We left very disappointed and put it on our "never again" list. Now you all have me rethinking this.
