What can you tell me about Cape May Clam Bake?

We loved it, once of the best dinners we had all week in May. The seafood was really great, we also enjoyed the corn on the cob. And the DESSERTS! Fantastic. The oreo bon bons and lava cake, yummy. This the only place that I stuffed myself all week!

We love Cape May!!! We have dinner ADR's there twice during our upcoming trip. This time tomorrow we'll be having dinner there and I can't wait!!! :thumbsup2

We just came home yesterday and went to cape may for dinner last wednesday(?) night. We loved it!! My hubby is not a seafood lover and he said it was a definate "book again". This was a last minute adr for us. I saw a pic of the crab legs and HAD to eat there. I'm so glad we did. It will definately be back on the list to dine again.

I'm glad to see so many postive reviews!! I have booked a character breakfast there and also dinner on our first night there!! I have been looking forward to it! I love seafood!!! :cool1:

So, crab legs were still on the bar? Thanks for the help

Oh man, I can't wait for September!!!!

I have to look at all my ADRs and cancel 1 or 2 or pay OOP....chances are we will pay OOP!

We ate at Cape May last Tuesday night & really enjoyed it. The lobster tortellini, crab legs (soooooo meaty & tender!), ribs, steamed mussles, & choco-lava cake were all divine! Everything else was really tasty too, but those were our faves.

Do they always have prime rib? Is it any good?

Is the seafood steamed, grilled or fried? My dad prefers fried shrimp and such. What kind of chicken is on the buffet? TIA

My wife is not a big fan of buffets so we didn't book Cape May this trip.

We ended up arriving a day early to get a deal on airfare so we were in need of a non-Disney meal our first night. After checking out the menu at a few area restaurants the kids and I suggested we take a chance and go to Cape May without an ADR. Boy were we ever glad we did.

We were seated almost immediately and we all really enjoyed our meal. My wife felt that it was much better than the last time we had visited and the kids and I have always enjoyed it.

My only regret was that I ate so much of the main courses that I only had room for one round of the desserts.

So excited... we will be there tomorrow night. Really looking forward to it as our first TS meal of the trip.

Can't remember everything, but they did have friend shrimp, which was delicious.

I've read some very good reviews for Cape May recently, and they reviewed it recently on one of the last episodes of the DIS Unplugged.

is it better than Biergarten? how do you get there from epcot?

Being better is always subjective.

It's certainly different. For breakfast, it's typical Disney breakfast buffet but we enjoyed it when we went in Feb.

At night it's the clambake which, again, is quite different from the breakfast buffet.

As for getting there from Epcot, just walk out of the International Gateway exit between the UK and the bridge to France and keep walking until you reach the Beach Club (about 3-5 min, depending on your pace)

We had a great time at cape may. I ate my weight in crab legs. Everything was very good and fresh. There were plenty of offerings for those who don't enjoy seafood.

I like Cape May's dinner buffet. My family usually goes every few trips, especially when we stay in the Epcot area. To get to the Beach Club from the park, simply exit through International Gateway between the United Kingdom and France pavilions and walk for about 10 minutes down the pathway!
