what can I do nice for my TA?

As this will be our very first cruise, I am unfamilar with proper etiquette...what, if anything should I do for my TA at DU? She has never failed to answer my questions promptly and even offered her personal preferences in some cases. She has been very acomodating, polite and helpful.I am not sailing until Sept. 8th. Please advise!!

Write a letter to her supervisor!! Let them know what a gem they have working for them. Give specific examples of how she has gone the extra mile and how happy you are. Mention (if true) that you are so pleased that you will definitely use them again and spread the word about their services.

This will go a long ways at her next performance review! Unfortunately, people are usually only willing to sit down and write a letter to complain.

And also send a 'thankyou' to her. When I thanked Donna at Dreams after our April cruise --- she said that she hardly ever receives a 'Thankyou'. And best yet is to speak highly of them on these boards. Repeat business and new business from referrals is what keeps them going.

If you have a digital camera (or a scanner), download a picture of your family from the vacation and send it to your consultant. I love getting pictures with smiling faces from my clients. It makes my day!

Being a travel agent for AAA, the best gift (in my opinion) I can recieve is a "thank you", or just a simple note letting me know what a wonderful time you had on your trip!
As a travel agent people never hesitate to let you know about things that maybe went wrong, or what they didn't like. It's so nice to hear about a trip that you loved and where things went perfectly!
