What book are you currently reading?

I have been reading Devil in a White City for months now. I need to set aside more time for reading.

I just finished reading "A Wedding in December" by Anita Shreve - it was just ok....

I'm going to start "The Jury" next by Fern Michaels

Jenny :)

I just bought Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs a memoir that sounds like great reading. I can't wait to start it. I am just about finished with the latest Mary Higgins Clark.

That's a great book!

I'm reading 1776 by David McCullough. It's very good but I love his historical documentaries.

Just finished the Time Traverlers Wife
Dont remeber the author, but it was great.
Thanks for all the suggestions

I just finished rereading the "Dark Tower" series by Stephen King. :thumbsup2

Tom Clancy's Red Rabbit

It's interesting. Teeth of the Tiger is next.

I just started reading "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale" by Jenna Jameson. It is VERY interesting. It is about her life and how she got into porn.
How funny that you mentioned this - we were at Tower Records today and I was *this* close to picking up this book, but in the end decided not to. We're going to Barnes & Noble tomorrow, so maybe I'll grab it this time!

I just started Chill Factor by Sandra Brown and so far it's pretty good. There is a severe snow storm on the horizon from page 1, which I am really enjoying since it's been over 100 degrees at my house just about every day this month! :furious:

I just finished "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown, the "DaVinci Code" guy. It was a better book than Davinici IMHO.

Plus, we were just in Rome in April, so it was cool to read about stuff that I had actually seen.

Ive taken a little time warp and gone back to one of James Patterson's firsts-The Thomas Berryman Number. Good for a summer afternnon read.

It is a good read. I enjoyed it a lot. I always recommend it to people, but the title scares them away I think. :teeth:

Have you read the others? I love that series.... I started reading her three years ago and couldn't read them fast enough!!!
You kind of have to go in order, but if you go one out of order it's not too bad. She also has the Metro series, the Full series among others.

I just read One for the Money at the beach this past week. I really enjoyed it and found myself laughing out loud!! I picked up the second one and will start that soon. Nice and light reading, which is always a nice treat.

Eliazbeth Berg's "We are All Welcome Here." Very good, moving, a woman raises a daughter despite being in an iron lung due to having polio.
