This will be our first trip to WDW with DD6. I am a confessed over-packer. This is a 2 part question: 1) What type of bag do you bring in and 2) What are the most important items to have? :confused3

The lightest one you have!!

And - tickets, money, ADR conf. #'s, camera, sunscreen, extra clothes for DS (those kid-fountains at Epcot are very inviting, even at that age) plastic bags (for said wet clothes or keeping your camera dry on wet rides)....

Mind going blank, but I'm sure others will answer as well.

I have a backpack style purse which, as I am a fellow over-packer, has been a lifesaver. It limits me to a reasonable load. Wallet, cell phone, paperwork (tickets, reservations, etc.), pin lanyard when I'm tired of wearing it, medications, a small snack and a water bottle. Um... Sunscreen! Don't forget sunscreen! Buy a small bottle and refill it from a bigger one when needed. My poncho folds up tiny too if I need it.

While you might have to carry a heavier load if you have babies, I really work at keeping the load down since my kid is bigger. I am NOT spending my vacation as a pack mule. I sometimes see moms in the park who are hauling around a big backpack and a diaper bag and three people's sweaters and that just doesn't appeal to me. :cutie: One of the areas where I've improved is taking only the amount of something I need. My anti-anxiety pills MUST come with me but I only need two or three in a small container, not the entire bottle. Since I travel with 5 *must have* medications, this is a significant reduction. Just make sure someone knows which pills are which!
