What Attraction needs to be updated or overhauled the most?

IASM just opened after a major refurbishment. It was closed for a year, I swear. The entire outside where you load the boats is completely different.

As much as we love the Safari in Animal Kingdom, Im getting tired of the "little red" story. I say.. get rid of the poacher story, and just make it a safari!

I think my DS (5) would die if we didnt see Indy and the big ball rolling the guy over.

OH.. No one said Snow Whites scary adventure!! Lame! lol

I vote for Peter pan needing a lick of paint-never ceases to amaze me that people queue so long for this ride.I love it to bits,but not enough to queue for an hour.

Country bears seem like they need some new fur!

I would love them to update star tours in line with the new films.

I think the "space vehicles" at Buzz Lightyear could all be replaced. They are dirty and used-looking and it makes them look like a cheap Playskool toy.

Definitely Star Wars too.

I don't think anything needs to be updated or changed. Just refreshed. These are all classics and you do not touch things like HM.SW,CB, etc. Never never never!!!

I definitely think SpaceShip Earth's TRACK needs to be fixed...however Im sure that would be a monumental task when you realize how it's laid out...the entire track is covered with ride vehicles. The process of taking it apart could be quite difficult.

Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Snow White, Jungle Cruise, Country Bears could all use an update but need to stay true to their classic appeal…think Tiki Room and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Yeah the ride turned into like a 25 minute thing while we where on it.......it broke down 5 times while we where on the ride....

Jungle Cruise is seriously boring and Tomorrowland Speedway definitely needs to be revamped.

The Jungle Cruise is soooo tired. I even recognized the same jokes on our trip this year from a video taken by my dad in 1990!

The Jungle Cruise needs to be REPLACED. Compared with what's new, it can no longer compete with the current rides/attractions. I rode it just to relax and even the kids on the boat were bored!

As for what needs a revamp, I would say Peter Pan for sure. It's so old it's just DAFT!

I agree with the Jungle Cruise. It's a classic but it could use some help.

I honestly think most of MGM needs updating. We LOVE that park (it is probably my son's favorite), but so much of it is outdated. And I personally think the backlot tour is a waste. I thought (thinking back to 96) there was more to it. This last time I just kept waiting for something to happen and it never did. Maybe I am wrong.

I can't believe no one has stated the obvious: CoP! We love this attraction, but please update the last scene.

Since you asked for my opinion . . .



1. Country Bears - I *love* this show! I do not want it changed, but adding another "special" would be cool. I love the original and the Christmas version is my favorite, so I wouldn't want to get rid of the old ones, just add another special.

2. Spaceship Earth - that is sacred territory, but last time I missed the laser lights. They were mostly off and looked dated. Get some cool LEDs or strobes going in that tunnel and enhance with some more effects - keep the same scenes, though.

3. Star Tours - Needs a new film badly. Star Wars fans are hard core and I am sure they could come up with something more modern.

4. Indy - needs to be overhauled.

5. Tiki Room - I miss the original. I think it should be like Country Bears. Keep the Iago/new mgmt. one sometimes, but also bring back the vintage one - even for just a small part of the year. Add a special holiday version, too. I'd love to hear them sing Feliz Navidad!

6. Peter Pan - needs a paint job and the moon, etc. could use more convincing effects.

7. Jungle Cruise - I like the old jokes, but maybe at night they could do it differently - either more romantic and quiet, or scarier or both!

8. Wonders of Life - I was there in December and I love it! It could use an update - although I *LOVE* Cranium Command and Making of Me! There are lots of possibilities in the world of health, so I am surprised that they have been so lax about updating this great area. They should incorporate lots about exercise and nutrition, and could even do an anti drug show of sorts. I am sure they could find a way to make it Disney.

9.Sounds Dangerous - needs to be overhauled.

10. Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground - most kids have no idea what this is but there are lots of other ways to add the same concept.

and while we're at it World Showcase needs another RIDE!

I love Peter Pan, but it could do with some fresh paint. I say we ax Swiss Family Treehouse (yuck) and The Great Movie Ride. That is a really hideous and outdated ride.

My dad's vote is to ax "The Death Ride," aka Mission: Space. He is a mere Muggle, however.
