For those of you who have seen this show, what are your thoughts? We are trying to decide whether to hit it or miss it. Tell me what you like and don't like about this show.

Thanks in Advance!

I was planning my December to be a laid back stop and smell the roses trip, but I think it is turning into a monster (as usual) go go go go go!

I must admit I do not like this show. I thought it was way too long to hold kids attention and I found myself yawning and dreaming of it being over.

I thought it was good. Would I see it again, no. It is long.

We really enjoyed The Lion King..

It kind of depends on how much you like "Finding Nemo" as a movie. If you're not wild about the characters or the storyline, then you can skip this, as it basically re-tells the story. But if your kids LOVE Nemo, then this is a great, fun show. There are some really cool effects and costumes, the puppets are really cool, and the music is terrific. It does take a big chunk out of your day, though, so if you're indifferent to Nemo in general, then it's something you can bypass.

:earsboy:

My family and I enjoyed the show. My son was 7.5 last September on our trip. It is 40 minutes long, a little too long for preschoolers. Especially considering you need to arrive for the show early.

It's nice and air conditioned in the show. Makes for a good afternoon break. The last show of the day doesn't seem to be particularly crowded. It might work better with a young child as you don't need to arrive so early.

We loved the show, it was one of our favorites. We went to the first show and got there about 5 minutes before it started. My 2 1/2 yo did fine for the most part, it wasn't crowded and played in our row some but he watched most of it. The girls loved it. The puppets are really unique. It does take a chunk of time but we thought it was worth it.

DH and I enjoyed the show very much, but the kids got kind of bored. It was a bit long for them. The 45 min. wait in line before the show probably compounded the problem. The seats are pretty uncomfortable, too. We're skipping it next time.

We also love the show. The puppets are wonderful! We've seen Nemo a million times at home and have the music in the car so I find myself singing right along. :)

I agree with most of the posters - the puppets and effects are spectacular and I really loved the music! However, it was a little long...Also, we sat in the front row and I found seeing the actors a little distracting. My advice would be to sit further back to get the full experience! If you have the time, I would definately check it out, but it's not the best show IMHO :) In anycase, have a great trip!

We went to the Nemo show in May of 2007 and I was debating whether or not we will go see it on our December 2008 trip. I say no DH said either or didnt matter to him, my daughter said no she is 7 and my son age 4 refuses to miss it. He is a Nemo fan and loves the little surprise at the end.
It is a nice break in the afternoon. It is 40 minutes, you sit down and it is air conditioned. It was cute.

It is a great show. I loved it however never seeing the movie I didn't realize that Nemo's mom died so I cried a first when she gets killed. Other than that it is a terrific show!! Definetly check it out.

I'd do everything you want to do in the park first and finish up with Nemo.

I thought it was excellent and one of the best shows WDW has done. However, we did not have to wait in line (were on CM list for reserved seating) and did not have children with us.

It's a must for us now.

I enjoyed the show (and cried when Nemo and Marlin were reunited) and will see it again at some point, but it will not be a "must do" on all future trips to AK. By comparison, I love the Lion King show and must see it every time I go to AK.

Personally I didn't really like it because you can see the puppeteers and that ruins the magic for me. But, while I was watching the show I noticed that the children there seemed to enjoy it. For my family and I it was a relief from the rain! lol. Anywho if you enjoy Nemo watch it and you know what they say try everything once

DH and I loved the show. DS11 enjoyed it. We were impressed with the cast members and all that they had to do. DH and I are going to see the show again in July. We did not like Tarzan Rocks, but we did like the Lion King show.

I like the movie and think the show is cute. I wouldn't worry if I missed it. I've seen it 3 or 4 times now and can skip it here and there now. It is nice to sit and take a break sometimes too ;) now the Lion King....I REALLY like that show!

I liked the song "Go with the Flow." And that was it.

My family feels the same way: last year as we were walking by the line to get into the theater, we all simultaneously started laughing when we remembered how long and boring the wait was outside, and how disappointed we were with the show. (Keep in mind that this was in January, so at least it wasn't hot and humid.)

I love the movie and like the ride at Epcot, but I wish I could have the time back that I spent in the show.

I can't believe how many people don't care for this show! I think it's fantastic -I've probably seen it about 20 times already.

Yes, the wait beforehand can be long, and the seats inside are a little hard -but I take the time to talk to people and find it goes by pretty quickly. Also, once the show starts, it's so captivating! The performers are wonderful (most of them -I saw a Dory yesterday that was so-so) and really talented! I always liked the Hunchback show at DHS, and think this is on par, if not better!

For those who say the show is long...well, they do make annoucements on line while waiting how long it is -so if you think you or your kids can't handle that, I'd skip it. It's amazing that they can take a 90 minute movie and condense it into just about 40 minutes (I've seen it done in 35).

Interestingly enough, the words and music for the show were actually written by a novice newlywed couple. Disney had asked for a 30 minute show, and while it does come in a little longer, it is still very well done. I think it's a "must sea" and WAY better than Lion King at AK (and Lion King is my favorite movie).

I love it. I feel that it is the best stage show in all of WDW. This one takes more talent and multi-tasking that FOTLK, Tarzan or any other.
