What are Your Thoughts on Nemo Show at AK.

Don't miss it. It is absolutely fantastic!! The music is great, the puppets are amazing, the show was a definite 10. We loved it and will see it every single time we go to Disney. Which, by the way, will be in 29 days.

The puppets are amazing - and some people are put off by the fact that you see the puppeteers. I didn't feel that way. I actually think it was unique and it added to the emotion of the show seeing the puppeteers' acting and singing. It's a beautifully staged show - and it's covered so it's nice and cool.

Enjoy - don't miss it! You have to try everything once, right???

The first time I went, I was late getting in line and sat way in the back. I didn't enjoy the show and didn't want to return. Next time, I went again because we were travelling with someone who had never been and wanted to experience Nemo. We got better seats, and I enjoyed the show. Third time, we got there early and got prime seats - in the front middle section. I thought the show was fantastic. You see things from that angle that you didn't notice from other parts of the theatre, you're right in the middle of things and you can really appreciate the show. So I'd say if you're willing to invest the time getting in line early to get prime seats, definitely go for it. From the very back, it's not as good a show, IMO. It does take a long time to see this show, though, between waiting in line outside the theatre, waiting in the theatre for half an hour before the show starts, and then watching the show. I appreciate my kids' game boys during that time!

I must confess that I really was bored in this show!:sad1:
I couldn't wait for the torture to end, but we were some of the last people let in and I was sitting on the floor!:scared:
They really should have stopped the que and shut the doors, I would have been spared of the looooong tortuous show!
Sorry to all you nemo show lovers!

It was a cool show but too long (imho). Still, it would be hard to say don't do it. :headache:

I must admit I do not like this show. I thought it was way too long to hold kids attention and I found myself yawning and dreaming of it being over.

We are with you... And we are big fans of the movie...We really wanted to love it... But we ended up not even liking it :sad2:

We love, love, love The Festival of the Lion King :thumbsup2

We saw it shortly after it opened and all 4 of us did not like it and I'm not planning for us to see it on this trip in October. BUT, I still think everyone should see it once. We love Finding Nemo story and movie and it's one that gets watched a lot. If it was between Nemo and Lion King when someone is at AK, I would totally recommend Lion King over Nemo.

I thought the show was a nice break from the heat in the middle of the day! My just turned 4 year old was entertained the whole time. That night we went to Epcot and went on the Nemo ride there. At that time I was hitting Nemo overload. :lmao: But DS started loving Nemo from the the nemo show and the ride. I don't think we will be going to it this time since we haven't done Lion King in the past 3 times we have been to Disney. I love that show.

ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......... cool concept, great story, but waaay too long....ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I loved it, it was beautiful. I love when the jelly fish come into the audience.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!!!!! So beautiful and emotional and entertaining. I loved the puppets and the music and the sets - I loved it all! In the end I was practically bawling (but in a good way!) - I really think it is one of the best shows I have ever seen anywhere!!! Now, my kids did not feel quite as enthusiastic as I did - they liked it but did not want to see it again when we were there in Dec. Maybe I can convince them in June but if not I'm going in alone - and I'm bringing tissues.

I just saw it last week for the first time. I was "forced" to see it because we had VIP passes from one of the CM's within our first minute in Animal Kingdom. My family was thrilled. All I could think of was: The show time was when I had planned to eat lunch and it was going to take a big chunk of our day but I didn't want to spoil the excitement for the family so we went. It was OK. I thought the whole puppet thing was a little wierd. I thought it was cute, a little long, we were there 4 minutes prior to the show to get our VIP seats and I probably wouldn't do it again. My husband thought it was the best show we saw. If you want to do it once, but don't waste too much time waiting in line.

I meant 40 minutes.

Add us to the lovers of this show - it was a wow! We did not bring our youngest (she was 2 at the time and went back to the resort for a nap with Grandma), and we attended the last show of the day so we did not have a huge line and we had great seats.

The staging, costumes, and puppets for this show are just awesome! I really liked the dual puppet and actor perspectives. I think this is one of my favorite shows on property. The show was a huge hit for all of us (kids were 7, 12, and 11).

Clearly we have different tastes from many, because we are not big fans of FOTL. We liked it okay, but we have no desire to see it again. However, we have seen Lion King on broadway, so FOTL seems rather tame to us after that experience. On the other hand, the Nemo show at AK to us felt much more like a broadway show experience - amazing!

I would advise you to see the show. It was quite good. The ONLY problem I had with it was I thought it was a little too long, especially for children. I think it lasted ~45 minutes.

Funny, I am the exact opposite, I loved Nemo, but just didn't get the Lion King show...

DH and I really loved the show! I actually was really glad to see both the puppets and the puppeteers. I was amazed at the talent of these puppeteers- they act, sing and manage to make the puppets come alive. I just found the whole show to be really impressive and I am not that into shows AND I am not that into Nemo. But, I love just about anything Disney... ;)
