We've been to Disney plenty of times, but never in December. We will be taking our girls (who will be almost 4 and 20 mos at the time). Friends of ours who have a daughter (5.5 yrs) and other friends with a son (2.5 yrs) will also be there. We're staying at the Dolphin.

What are your suggestions of must do's for us? We will most likely be there for about 7 days. We most likely will only be at the parks for 4 or 5 of the days. From past experience with little ones, we'd like to have a couple of days to breathe!!

Oh, and nothing really to do with Christmas time, but the girls LOVE LOVE LOVE (of course) the princesses. I've never had to do "the princess" thing before, so if you have any suggestions for that part of it, I'm game for listening to that, too.

Thanks in advance. I'm interested in what everyone has to say!!

Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party!!! That is a great advantage to going in Dec. plus if your girls like the princesses, maybe take them to eat at Cinderella's Royal table? Those would be must do's for us! I only have a ds, but we still do CRT. Nothing like making it snow in Florida :)

We LOVED the Osborne lights (went twice). We took a little time to resort hop to check out the decorations, which was a great way to spend a non-park day. The photo of my kids with Santa at DTD was one of the best ever!

Take your time around Epcot - the holidays around the world stories are really neat (although the Chinese Monkey King really freaked my little guy out), and the lighting of the Christmas tree at Epcot is not to be missed - all the characters and various castmembers from around the world, talk about an aaaaahhhhhhhh moment!

Enjoy!

I second MVMCP. Make sure you find the place where you get your free photos, and see as many parades and shows as you can. The downfall for us in going in December is that its too warm to feel like CHristmas, but all the special shows and parades make it feel that way.

Our children also enjoyed the MVMCP also, a must do!! It is also nice to take a carriage ride through FW. Such a great time for Christmas!
