We have been going to Disney for many years but this will be our 4yo daughters second trip and our first time staying at the resorts. Our girls don't remember the first trip since it was for their 1st b-day. What restaurants would you suggest for kiddos and parents. We will for sure do the one in the Norwegian pavillion as we love the place but what other ones and which meal time ( breakfast, lunch or dinner) would you suggest? We are not fussy eaters. We only decided yesterday that we were going this October ... ya i KNOW we are last minute but it's so us... and of course we have the 1 table service/day but don't know what to do since there's lots of restaurants.

Oh and the Cinderella Royal table is not available for any of the dates regardless of the time that I enter.

Thanks for your help. :grouphug:

1. Boma dinner
2. Ohana dinner
3. Tusker House breakfast
5. Crystal Palace dinner
6. Kona Cafe breakfast

The above meals are the ones we do every time. TH and CP are character meals which are always fun for the kids.

1. Chef Mikey's

2. Crystal Palace (it was the only place to see piglet; if anyone have updated info, please advise).

3. 1900 park fare (mary poppins, alice in wonderland, mad hatter)

4. Cape May (Beach Club) for beach attired characters

5. Animal kingdom character breakfast (forgot the name of the restaurant; characters in safari wear).

1. LeCelier Dinner or Lunch
2. Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner
3. Tusker House Breakfast
4. Ohana Dinner
5. Akershus Breakfast
6. Chef Mickeys breakfast or dinner
7. 1900 Park Fare Dinner

CRT is nearly impossible to get an ADR. In 7 years we've only been once.

Here's a list of TS where it may be possible to get ADRs AND are fun for Kiddos and parents (IMO):

1. 1900 Park Faire
2. Crystal Palace
3. Donalds Safari Breakfast
4. Teppan Edo (My DS3 and DD6 love the show)
5. Cape May
6. Boma
7. Turf (This is more for the adults, but it's fantastic)

1. Chef Mickey's (character breakfast OR character dinner...love them both!)
2. 1900 Park Fare character breakfast
3. Biergarten dinner (no characters, but has great entertainment and kid-friendly)
4. Chefs de France lunch (we saw Remy last month, but no guarantee he will be there; he is not there on Sundays...but this place has wonderful food and service!)
5. Kouzzina (delicious Mediterranean food, quieter restaurant but also very kid-friendly)
6. Kona Cafe (excellent food and service; the best coffee on property IMO; kid-friendly!)
7. Crystal Palace character breakfast

Those are places we LOVE and will definitely be going back to when we return again to WDW!!!! Each one has something unique about it. Chef Mickey's has all 5 of the classic characters. 1900 Park Fare breakfast has the Mad Hatter, who is hilarious, and they have unique breakfast foods (lobster eggs benedict, bananas foster syrup, etc.). Biergarten has the entertainment as well as delicious German food (with kid-friendly options as well, such as mac and cheese, and hot dogs). At Chefs de France you can get unique French food or familiar foods (ham and cheese sandwich, burger for kids). Kouzzina has a unique menu, created by Cat Cora (Iron Chef from Food Network). Kona Cafe's food is wonderful, plus they have 100% Kona coffee! Polynesian resort is beautiful too! Crystal Palace breakfast has puffed french toast...can't get this at any other Disney restaurant!

Don't have 7 that I always do (I want to try them all!) but my faves so far are

The Plaza
Yak & Yeti
SciFi

and for CS, I love Yakitori House.

Boma Breakfast
Jiko
Yak & Yeti
50's Prime Time
Sci Fi
Cape Mays Breakfast
Ohana's Breakfast

Based on the age of your daughters, I would recommend the following. These are our FAMILY favorites! :)

'Ohana (would be a hard one to get this late)
Crystal Palace (any, but sounds like breakfast gets the best reviews)
Tusker House breakfast
Sci-Fi (lunch)
Biergarten
Coral Reef
Akershus (DD6 calls this Belle's casltle...sounds like you are already planning on this one).

The two we haven't tried, but DD is excited about, are Garden Grill (revolving charachter meal at Epcot) and Chefs de France (lunch) because she would like to meet Remy.

In no particular order...
1. Ohana dinner
2. 1900 PF dinner
3. Tusker House breakfast
4. Cape May breakfast
5. Tutto Italia dinner
6. The Wave lunch or dinner
7. Akershus if no CRT

Please keep your eyes on the October ADR cancelled thread. You may be able to snag some of those hard to get ressies...

Good Luck and have fun!

1. Citrico's
2. Flying Fish Cafe
3. Crystal Palace (breakfast before the park opens)
4. Kona Cafe (lunch or dinner)
5. Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
6. California Grill
7. Boma's

For one TS credit per meal:

1. Princess Storybook Breakfast at Akershus in the Norway Pavillion (as you say)

2. Tusker House lunch -- make the reservation between 1pm and 1:40pm and get priority seating for the 3:15 Finding Nemo show

3. Sanaa -- Very good food for the kids a step up from the usual fare.

4. Le Cellier -- for lunch, if you can get in at this point.

5. Chef Mickey's -- dinner is a lot of fun. It's our traditional last-night-at-WDW dinner.

6. Chefs de France -- lunch or dinner. It's a very nice experience.

7. Crystal Palace for lunch is a nice break in the middle of an MK day. If your daughters are Winnie-the-Pooh fans, they may really enjoy the character interaction there.

THANK YOU! I see which ones are the favorites by all. This :dance3: will be my girls dance of joy in a few more months.

Now on to find reservations

For those ages, I highly recommend Crystal Palace breakfast and 'Ohana breakfast. We love those two.

With great reluctance, I must also mention the Sci-Fi at the Studios. My food was inedible (OK, this was YEARS ago - like 1996 - but you know what they say about elephants...) but my DD, who was 5 at the time, still talks about "eating in the cars." She doesn't remember the food, but the experience made her whole trip that year.

I have a 5 yr. old daughter, and she absolutely loves to go to 1900 Park Fare for dinner with Cinderella, the Prince, Fairy Godmother, Stepmother, and Step sisters. Its a beautiful restaurant with carousel horses and great character interaction.

We love Akershus for princesses, and Crystal Palace (any meal) for Pooh characters and the best food.

My daughter loved Hollywood & Vine at DHS. No one really likes that restaurant on the DIS. The food is only okay, but its grea for Playhouse Disney fans. We have eaten there 3 times now. Bfast and lunch were decent buffets.

Chef Mickey's is hard to get an ADR, but great characters and fun for the kids.

We also like the Garden Grill at Epcot to see Mickey.

Cape May is a character meal at bfast only. And it is the best bfast I have ever had. Its one of the few places to see Chip or Dale and Donald. Minnie, Goofy, and Donald were also there when we visited.

My kids enjoyed Whispering Canyon at WL. No characters but very entertaining staff.

Its not on the DDP, but my family loves T-Rex restaurant at DTD. Its a must do for us. Very loud dinosaurs, but very neat experience along with a dino dig at the front of the restaurant.

Keep checking on CRT. You never know if you might get an ADR. I never have gotten one in the 6x we have gone in the last 4 yrs., but people say they do! lol

Here is our must do restaurants....

1) Akershus Breakfast
2) Cape May Cafe Breakfast
3) Cali Grill
4) Le Cellier

It isn't 7 like you asked for, but these the must dos each time we go.
