Live alone and kids are old enough now (live at mom's) to never have time for mom or dad.

If Life is a hobby, what do you do for a career?

I don't have a career, I have a job and I work. Work is something that you need to take a break from life to do as a necessity. The rest of the day outside of work is life and anything I do outside of work in life is a hobby.

I love to fill out my Life Planner every Sunday night, with Washi Tapes, Stickers, etc. I put my airpods in and do my thing, in my own little world (though the rest of my family is around ). It also preps my mind for the week ahead.

This started when my daughter was younger (around age 4, she is 11 now) but on Friday nights my husband would carry all of our dirty laundry to the basement laundry room for me. I go down there and sit and listen to youtube videos and sort laundry. I've always joked it was my quiet place because nobody would want to come do laundry in our house besides me.

I also enjoy Reading, though the time for it is sporadic these days.
