I have planned on picking up Disney treats to bring back for my kids' classes. A small treat bag with a few things inside (stickers, candy, whatever). Today we hit a few garage sales and I found these at a price I just could not resist! :thumbsup2

The Minnie & Me trading cards cost me $2 for 29 packages - 7 cents each!

And the Aladdin trading cards were $2 for 15 packages - 14 cents each!

At another garage down the street from where we live, I saw a huge Mickey Mouse bag in the garage. When I asked if they had Disney Trading Pins, the lady said they actually had lots but not for sale.. lol - turns out they are DVC members and going in Oct!

I also picked up a very nice fabric over-the-door organizer with vinyl pockets for $2 at the house beside them. The best prices I have been able to find so far were $7 at JYSK (all plastic), and $15 at Canadian Tire & Sears. Glad I never purchased one yet!

So what great deals have you all found lately?? :goodvibes

Just in Disney stuff we have found costumes for my granddaughter: Cinderella, Kim Possible, Tinker Bell, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty. We also got a Mickey Mouse doll in a safari outfit from AK, a Minnie Mouse handbag, a picture frame from the Disney Store that said "Disney Memories" and had a Mickey Mouse on each corner, a desk set, slippers, an Eeyore sweatshirt, Princess pajamas... that's all I can remember for now. In this part of the country Disney stuff is pretty common because WDW is within reasonable driving distance.

My mom found a Southern Belle costume that had a (and this is what we'll use at Disney) hoop skirt underneath for $1!!! It's PERFECT to go under DNiece's costumes for character meals and pics!

Today I got three new journals, one fabric covered, one with a beautiful Rome theme and another from Bombay Company, marked 15.99. ALl three have the ribbon marker and the elastic band, so lovely!!! My cost $3 for all 3!! WOoHOo, I love journaling my trips and I enjoy a new journal, especially the really nice ones, which these are!
I also got a Cosmetic "box" it is acrylic, brand new, and it is about 9" wide by 7" tall and cost me a buck, perfect! :cheer2:

A friend told me she stopped yesterday and bought a platinum keurig for $25 in excellent condition. She said she came home and ran vinegar and hot water thorugh it.

What is a platinum keurig?

Keurigs are starting to show up at yard sales on a fairly regular basis, which to me says that the novelty wears off rather quickly. OTOH my mother has one that gave her a problem and Keurig sent her a newer model to replace it at no charge, even paid to ship the old one back. So if you have one they stand by it. We have no interest in them so it's an item we would pass up no matter how cheap it was.

I think after awhile the cost of the pods gets to people and they go back to regular coffee. I ended up hating the keurig. To me there was always this weird taste, like their were grounds or sediment in the bottom of the cup and it didn't get hot enough. It may have been a bad machine though because I used one at a party and it was good coffee. :confused3 I returned it.

I haven't gone garage saleing yet but the church thrift shop down the street has some good finds. I found a 1960's olympus camera for $5.

Oh thanks for the idea! I am going to make sure to put out dd's Disney Dress up stuff!! I forgot all about it. I was going to ebay it but really just want to get rid of it.
Yard sale here we come!

Ours is this week. Any idea on a good price for them? They were the upper end ones the disney store sold and a Belle dress from the MK not the cheapo ones.

I might have to put together a "travel" table with stuff good for trips! Thanks for the idea!

WOW about the Keurig. My DH is so in love with his. He's had it since Christmas and it has not worn off at all. Then again he drinks a cup a day so it is not expensive for us. I don't drink it at all so it works wekk.

I don't garage sale much but did visiting my grandma one day. I spent $.50 on a brand new pair of Hidden Mickey hoop earrings for my kids. They were still ont the card from Disney World and said $8.99 for a price. I also got a Mickey broach stle pin also for $.50 also still on the card. That was the best buck I spent in a while!
