I gave up on The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo. I found that the author wrote like Anne Rice (very wordy) and I just wasn't getting into the storyline because of his wordiness. If someone wants to PM me the ending, please do. The story was interesting, and I have my guesses about the ending, I just wasn't going back to pick up the book the way that I normally do.
I started The Help last night. This book is definitely holding my interest! We decided after reading Mudbound for December's book club meeting that we'd read The Help for January. Two wonderfully written books on just horrible and shocking, to this reader, circumstances created by bigotry.

lol
I'm going to move on to ECLIPSE and hope for better. I LOVED the movie, but the book....UGH!

. It beats waiting till March for the US release though. Right now I'm on "the Angel" by Carla Neggers, still trying to decide if I like it or not. Just realized I have something like 25 books waiting for me on my Kindle, plus I'm planning to read the whole Irene Adler/Sherlock Holmes/Jack the Ripper series by Carol Nelson Douglas, non of which are available on Kindle as some are apparantly out of print.
