I just read the first 2, The Foundling and The Dark Rose.

There are currently 31 books in the series. I will have to take out a loan to buy them all!

The Stranger Beside Me, by Ann Rule. I have a tendency to lean toward "not-lighthearted" books.

I really enjoyed this book. It was creepy!!

Try your local library, that's what I've started doing with the Charlaine Harris books, although I've purchased almost all of the Sookie Stackhouse ones. She has two other series that I'm trying, so I put four of them on request. I'm running out of room to store my books!

Peter Pan by JM Barrie . I'm trying to read a lot of classics lately. I feel embarassed reading it on the subway, since it's really a children's book and all, but I want to have read it and know the source material for Disney's version.

I just finished The First Patient by Michael Palmer. Really good, if you like mysteries like I do. This was a medical mystery ala Robin Cook. And it was timely since it was about a president.

I just finished Wally Lamb's new one. It is excellent! I still can't believe I read over 700 pages in two days!

I am reading this now. It's wonderful! (although I didn't read 700 pages in 2 days ).
