Eat, Pray, Love I forget the author, book is upstairs. Just started it!

I just finished Goodnight Nobody by Jennifer Wiener. I think that's the author, lol. Again, book is upstairs.

Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett and I can't put it down. It's sooo good. Takes place in the 12th century- castles, monks, treachery, arson, romance, drama.....really pulls you in and the characters are great.

"Audacity of Hope" by Barack Obama. I bought it about 2 years ago and never read it. Now that it appears he has a real chance of being the Dem. nominee, I figured I'd better read it and get a better idea of who this man is.

All I can say is WOW! This man is as good a writer as he is speaker! His intelligence, and the way he thinks, is amazing.

I just got done reading Little heathens. Now I'm rereading Army Wives.

I recently finished, "No Place Like Home", by Mary Higgins Clark. I started it the end of Nov., went on vacation in Dec. (so much going on that month!) and didn't pick it back up until almost the end of Jan.. It took awhile for me to get back into it but I'm glad I did! It was a great whodunnit!

Now I'm "skim" reading (as I call it) a few books; "Beyond Ebay", "How Doctors Think".

"Family First" is on deck for "true" reading. :)

Jean Sasson's Princess Book 2. It's about that Saudia Arabia princess.

That is one of my all-time favorite books. Be sure to read World Without End, too.

I almost bought that at WalMart the other night, is it good?? I couldn't get a feel for what it was about.

The Other Bolyn Girl is excellent if you enjoy historical fiction. I loved it and the sequel (Its name left me right now)

I am reading The 5 People you Meet in Heaven. I'm not very far, but it is intriguing.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven, is really good. I read it way back in
10th grade and did a presentation on it. I couldn't stop thinking about it after I finished reading it.

I have Eat, Pray, Love and I am excited to read it! Let me know how it is.

I REALLY want to read this! I was going to get it at Borders but saw the paperback was $25 and I didn't really have the money so I had to put it back. Maybe I'll order it on amazon.

hi! I'm currently reading Mary Mrs. A. Lincoln by Janis Cooke Newman. It's historical fiction. Pretty good so far I'm about halfway through.:)

It was really good. It is about this old man reminiscing about when he was young and worked for a circus.

After I'm done reading Unfinished Business, which for some reason I'm not reading that quickly, I'm going to read The Sharper Your Knife, The Less You Cry. Has anyone else ever read that?

I'm reading Pilate's Wife by Antoinette May. It's pretty interesting.

"One Train Later" by Andy Summers. The book came out in late 2006 and is an autobiography by Andy Summers, guitarist for The Police.

Some of his tales before joining the band are very entertaining. He's has some interaction with Clapton, Hendrix, and John Belushi.

I also am thinking about reading Kitchen Confidential if anyone has ever read that, I wouldn't mind some opinions.

I read that (some time ago). I did enjoy it. It was interesting. Some surprising tales and perspectives. The author told about viewpoints within the industry as well as his experiences. Anyway, it made me think twice about going out to eat! It had a lasting impact in that regard.

I am pretty aware of what goes on in kitchens, so I doubt that anything would shock me that much. Of course after seeing the movie Super Size me, I swore off fast-food for awhile so who knows, LOL. ;)

I kinda of knew about stuff. I can't recall anything specific it just became an over all turn off.

I did go to fast food places now and then. Not so much any more. I started skim reading, "Fast Food Nation". I couldn't stomach it. That really turned me off. I *try* to get salads or baked potatoes when I get fast food. Yikes! :scared:

I just finished up Plum Lucky(LOVED IT, really laughed out loud) and now starting the a book by Suzanne Brockman and I'm also reading Intimacy Ignited. It's about keeping the fires alive whether you've been married 1 year or 25. It was recommended by the Chaplin it breaks down the Song of Solomon into up to date things and phrases we use now. I get bored and put it down and then start it again.
