I'm reading the da vinci code, to see what all the fuss is about!!! It's been pretty gripping so far. I've also read Deception point by Dan Brown recently and really enjoyed it.

Generally, I like light reads, and love Jane green, Adele Parks, Sophie Kinsella etc.

What about you? Would love some recommendations, I LOVE reading!!

Hi Verity,

I'm not reading anything at the moment :(.

I did recently read the DaVinci Code though, like you to find out what all the fuss was about ;). I found it very enjoyable and I couldn't put it down once I had started :teeth:

I might try some more Dan Brown now, although I am looking forward to the next Harry Potter later in the year as well :bounce:

I'm reading a very interesting book at the moment, which I am sure most of you Disney fans have already read, called Mouse Tales a behind the ears look at Disneyland. I am absolutly fasinated with some of the story's that you never get to read about normally.

Hello,

Book wise I am just passing time until Harry Potter 6.

I have been reading another kids range though. lemony Snickett. It is ok but no where near HP league.

I may read the DaVinci Code, Again just to see what the crack is and to stop people telling me I 'mus' read it!

Did you get it in a shop Sue or on the internet, I'd like this one!

I am reading Jules Verne's From the Earth to the Moon I love it, might even start reading more of his novels if I find the time.

If you like DaVinci Code, you will like Brown's Angels and Demons (which I thought was better than DaVinci Code - it's the same main character (Langdon) but was written before DaVinci Code).

Right now, I'm reading Avenger by Frederick Forsyth, but only because someone gave it to me and I had nothing better... It's an OK book.

I just got Earth Abides by George Stewart from Amazon - it's an older book (1986) that I never had a chance to read. It sounds similar to the The Stand by Stephen King.

It's not about the bike - By Lance Armstrong

:moped:

I've bought P.S. I Love You, for my holiday and then I'm patiently waiting for the next Harry Potter book to come out - and I can't wait

Im reading The Apprentice by Tess Gerritsen which is a very bloody, scary thriller, dont read it late at night!! :scared1:

I am reading Harry Potter no. 2 at the moment. Yes, I know I'm way behind everyone else :rotfl: but everytime I try to read one of the HP's, either DH had taken it to work and left it there or one of my DD's was reading it again! Eldest DD has read them all 6 times! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I just finished the DaVinci Code. I would recommend Angels and Demons, the book before this one. I actually preferred it. I have now read all of Dan Brown's books to date.

I am another DISer who is impatiently waiting for Harry Potter 6. I've read the series twice and I love it!

I am working on a different sort of fantasy trilogy now, by Jonathan Stroud. the first book is called The Amulet of Samarkand. It's pretty good, much darker then HP but I'm not going to compare the two as they are very different.

I'v read P.S I Love you,i really enjoyed it.Also read her Where Rainbows End,really enjoyed this as well.
Just finished reading With or without you, another one i really enjoyed and have just started The Other Woman but i'm finding it hard to get into this one.

Waiting for the next harry potter one now.

ive just finished ' a child called it ' by dave pelzer. very sad and moving, definatly do not read in public. what that little boy went through at the hands of his mother is just heart rending

I hate reading anything i have to think about as i only really ever read at bed time so i just read lots of books i don't have to think about :) I love Jill mansells books, just finished The one you really want. I also like books by Patricia Scanlan, Jane Green, Marian Keyes and Patricia Cornwell. I think i will start to read Sophie Kinsella next.

I'm working my way through Dan Brown at the moment :)

I've read Angels and Demons (this is set in the Vatican just after the pope dies - I finished it the day the actual pope died - spooky!), The Di Vinci Code, Digital Fortress and now I'm reading Deception Point :)

I'm also waiting for the new Micheal Crichton book to go into paperback.

I am reading Nora Roberts Book "The MacGregors Rebellion" I am really enjoying it, will have finished it in an hour, I read three from this series yesterday (fast reader)

I've got three books on the go at the moment:

Birnbaum's Disneyland Resort 2005
The Davinci Code
Beneath the Skin (psychological thriller) by Nikki French
