Dh and I just had the kids take the ad papers out of the sunday newspaper and circle what they wanted with their "special color marker" and we usually do that about 2 more time and most of the time they get whatever they circled. I didn't even look at them yet!!

Our oldest DD is getting some golf clubs, her little sister is getting some horse riding lessons to run through most of the year. Not sure what the little guy is getting for sure, but the grandparents are lining up to get him things with lots of individual pieces. (Do I hear revenge???)

Our oldest wants a Wii so bad I swear he's in pain when he talks about it. And I always give him that stern look and say, "You know your father and I don't approve of video game systems." And he looks so sad and depressed. Won't he be surprised to find it under the tree! It's the "You'll shoot your eye out" technique.

At least the cool thing about the Wii is that Mom and Dad will have just as much fun as kiddo's playing it!

I'll send you my dog. He has put so many Wii's on our bedroom carpet that I feel like I'm sleeping in a litter box.

I got our Wii on Black Friday the year they came out. I got to a local GameStop about 4:30 that morning and waited till they opened it was an out of the way location, so not many people actually new it was there. I was second in line. I had my kids convinced that there was no way we were getting a Wii. They'd ask and I'd just say, "What? You're kidding right? They've been sold out forever" That and the games were the last thing they opened that morning. Pretty funny to see the reaction on their faces.
