What are you doing for the weekend?

My parents are out of town for a week and a friend of the family is surprising them by renovating our bathroom while they're gone. I got up at 8:30 this morning to help clean everything out so he could get started. At the moment we have bare walls in the shower and the sink, vanity and medicine cabinet have all been ripped out or taken down. I'll probably be helping out and trying to stay out of his way all day.

Last night I drove 6 hours (round trip) to take DS to hang out with his uncle (my brother ) for the weekend.

Today, I'm donating platelets. And then I should do some housework, but I can be very easily distracted from that.

Tomorrow's another 6 hour drive to pick up the kiddo and be regaled with his tales about doing guy stuff with Uncle JB...

I'm at work today.

I took yesterday off for a medical procedure. Thankfully, it appears I'll be able to leave by 2pm and then I can take tomorrow off! Then, I'm going to dinner at a steakhouse. I haven't eaten meat in over a month and I need a good steak. Maybe I'll head to the video store where they have buy 3 for $25. and see if there are any movies I might want to see tonight.

Tomorrow....I need to clean the garage. I killed a dragonfly with my car and it's laying dead in the garage....completely in tact and it's creeping me out. It looks like it could just get up and fly again. It needs to go. So, I might as well clean the entire garage and get the plow ready to go for winter. We also have to cut back some grass and trees from around the driveway - again to prepare for winter. We need to be able to push the snow far off or else it gets difficult to plow the driveway clear by the 3rd storm.

I have to watch Thursday and Friday's All My Children on SoapNet and then the Emmys. My best friend and I love Ellen and we hope beyond hope they'll show Portia. We're not gay, but we would make an exception for Portia.

We are getting a new roof. We just bought this house and were told that the roof was fine by our home inspecter. Well, we closed on the house then discovered the wood was rotten under the shingles. Fun, fun!!

We are having a new roof put on too..

We are having a new roof installed so the house is such a mess right now.. We found out we have 2 layers 2 many then permitted by law. So we decided to have everything torn off down to the studs and all a complete roof put on...

I also think this morning I woke up with the starts of a cold AGAIN!! I just don't understand it..

October 12th we leave for Disney World (FL) until the 16th. We are ging with 6 adults and 8 children. There will be a special Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party that we will ALL attend. The kids dress up and trick or treat throughout Magic Kingdom.. So I have to go to the local Disney Store to check out some costumes and Tshirts... And my mother's 60th Birthday is next Sunday so I need a present..

Other then that:
Laundry
Vacuumming
Grocery Shopping
Dusting

etc etc

TG my DH cleans the shower/tub, cause I refuse to.. besides he makes the mess so he can clean it !!

It's opening day for hunting today. That's where DH wil be. I will be home with the kids. Tomorrow we have errands to do.

Not much of anything. I am "on call" with my new job and really can't make any hard or fast plans. We were hoping to get a pizza dinner in last night and sure as you know it I got called in to work. I figure if I don't plan anything, nobody will call.

So, I will hem some pants, do laundry, clean the house, get some things listed on a certain auction website, bake cookies, and spend some time reading posts on the DIS.

It should be a good weekend!

Nothing fun. We are staining the fence around our backyard. I am cleaning the house, going to the grocery store, doing laundry and working on lesson plans.

Tonight I think we are going to watch a rented movie.

House league soccer was cancelled today but the travel team's game is on for this afternoon. Then if the weather holds, there's an Arts Festival going on this month in our town, and today it's Folk Music Day in the local park. Plus they have woodworking demos, art for sale, food, etc. Very fun time.
Sunday, it's off to New Hampshire Int'l Speedway for the Nextel race. Never a dull moment around here!

Today is my birthday so I refuse to do chores and homework today! I had a meeting at church all morning and now DH and I are going to the children's museum that I haven't been to yet. Tonight we'll go to dinner and watch a movie (I got Fraggle Rock on DVD for my bday and am dying to watch it!)

Tomorrow is church and I have to do all the things I'm refusing to do today
