What are you celebrating? Absolutely nothing! TR writing has commenced!

Yes I agree :thumbsup2. Parents are too often trying to make their kids look cool, and most kids seem to be in jeans and tracksuits rather than cute little dresses. We always used to buy Sophie's clothes from this French catalogue and their clothes were mostly sundresses and sun tops, they were so gorgeous. I am still trying to dress her like that now

I think I would be in trouble if I looked at that French catalogue! :rotfl2:

Those slides are in the kiddie section and the one set I believe did have a height requirement but the othe little ones didn't and you could even go on and hold DD or DS! The ones that look like a open sliding board with about 4 lanes they don't have the requirement the ones that look more like mini water slides I think had a requirement . But they are very lil and kid friendly it's pretty cool! I liked it because I had my baby niece and she was 1 1/2 and she loved the one set of slides we could take her on! and the little animals shoot water so you can have like a water fight! :)

That sounds perfect for them! Thank you so much!!!

Pop Pop and I are debating on whether we should stay at a hotel the night before our flight since we would need to leave the house by 3am in order to make it to the airport, lug our stuff, check in, etc and not have a repeat of the recreation of the Home Alone running through the airport scene as we did last year (and we stayed at a hotel then too! :rotfl2: )

IF we stay at a hotel:
- kids come home from visiting with their dad at 9pm.
- car would be packed while kids at dad's
- kids get quick bath and changed into jammies
- we say see you Friday to Nonna
- kids are in the carseats and we depart no later than 10:15pm
- kids fall asleep as we hit the first traffic light (I can hope, right?)
- arrive at hotel approx. 11:45pm
- be on the way to the airport no later than 4:20am (hotel is 3 miles from airport)
- gather all personal belongings, kids strapped in stroller, I make sure we have keys, tickets, etc handy and head into airport
- check-in
- go through security
- get something to eat
- board plane approx. 6:15am

IF we stayed at home:
- kids come home from visiting with their dad at 9pm Monday
- car would be packed while kids at dad's
- kids get quick bath and changed into jammies
- kids in bed by 10pm
- wake up 2:30am and get ready
- wake up kids and get them ready 2:45am
- wake up mom and say see you Friday 2:50am (hopefully she can go back to sleep)
- depart 3am and hoping kids go back to sleep in car
- arrive at airport 4:30am
- gather all personal belongings, kids strapped in stroller, I make sure we have keys, tickets, etc handy and head into airport
- check-in
- go through security
- get something to eat
- board plane approx. 6:15am

What do you think?

In other news, the carpet is being installed this Friday! :yay: That means Pop Pop has 3 rooms of carpet to rip up :scared1:

And I just ordered some stuff from Janie & Jack! I had a coupon and free shipping. I went to the store last night but they didn't have DD's sizes in what I wanted.

Today, we're going out to lunch with Mom Mom, Dee Dad, and Pop Pop. Then Pop Pop and Dee Dad are going out to Trenton to visit the former pastor of our church who is in the hospital out there. Mom Mom, the kids and I are going to go shopping for sandals for DD. I also have to hit the post office before we leave.

Be back later with more!

Aww cute clothes! :cutie:

I'm going to vote for staying at the hotel the night before you leave. It just seems like it would be much less stressful with the kids to do that. :thumbsup2

Woo Hoo! :dance3: Today is the 1st anniversary of my divorce! OK, OK, please don't think I'm cruel, I went through heck while I was married (never made it to our 1st anniversary) and even more heck while we were separated. To me this day is a happy day, I have accomplished a lot this past year - my business is growing, I've been blessed with the 2 most beautiful children on the planet, and I'm fortunate that I can stay home and raise them and still have a business. I know there are so many who are not able to. It's a bit of a proud moment knowing that I am as strong of a person as I am.

And in more good news ... the carpet is being installed right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay::woohoo: Another thing to cross off that to-do list! AND I ordered a lot of pins off ebay for trading! They should be here by Thursday.

Even better news ... that countdown is getting smaller and smaller!!!!!!!!!

Still sooooo much to do, though!

I haven't found white sandals for DD yet. I MUST find some before we leave. DS is all set - shoes, clothes, bathing suits, etc. I have nothing ready for myself so I need to get on that pronto! LOL! I also have to get all the toiletries, diapers, wipes, etc together that I will be mailing down. They are getting sent out on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my sister and I were in school, my family went to WDW many times at Easter and there are time that I wish we still did. However, this picture had me jumping up and down that we were not there right now!

Also on the to-do list is placing our order with Garden Grocer, ordering the Photopass CD, making DD's hairbows, and of course - putting the playroom, my room and the kids' room back together after having the carpet installed!

I'm hoping to be back on here before Sunday, but just in case ....

To all those who celebrate

It's addictive shopping for them! We are flying so that may be his shirt - great idea! And the "Paris" dress she is going to wear when we eat at Chefs de France! Our ressie is at 6pm so I'm not sure if we will catch Remy or not. I hope we do but I'm not telling anyone about it so there will be no disappointment!

See..great minds think alike! :thumbsup2

Aw, if you do catch Remy, PLEASE take some pics. :flower3:

party:Happy Divorce Day!party:
I'm sorry your marriage didn't turn out the way you expected, but you definitley should be proud of yourself for all of the things you've accomplished on your own! Plus, there must have been some good times because you have 2 beautiful babies!!:rotfl:

I can't believe how close all of our vacations are getting. I'm starting to get overwhelmed will all of the sh..tuff I have to do!!!

I don't think your cruel at all! Congratulations to you! More women should be like you!! My sister is current'y "stuck" in a terrible marriage because she thinks should couldn't manage without her husband.

That photo is crazy!! I read something about MK being closed to incoming guests at 1pm on Tuesday because they had reached max crowd! YIKES!

I think I would be in trouble if I looked at that French catalogue! :rotfl2:

Here' a picture of DD taking my Niece down the slide . If we were there a lil longer she wouldve gone down by herself she loved it! She kept running back up but wanted someone to take her she wasn't brave enough herself! LOL!

HPIM0346.jpg

Here she is in part of the play area in the yellow she was eyeing up those lil animals that shoot water! You can have a water fight! She eventually did go over and shot me with water as soon as I came near! LOL!

Definitely Stay at the hotel the night before it just seems like it would be much easier with 2 lil ones! I am fortunate actually that when we fly out in august we are flying out of Phila and my sister lives apprx 20 min from the airport so we are going up the night before and staying with her as we have a 7am flight out of PHL! Do you have a WALMART near you? They usually have White Sandals for Little Girls.

That is great that you are strong like that! Many ppl are not! You go girl there's nothing mean about that!

Happy Easter!!!!!

DS woke up this morning with severe chest congestion. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he isn't coming down with the RSV virus again and he just has severe allergies like me. Just in case, I've already started him on the nebulizer treatments and will be taking him to the doctor tomorrow. I kept him home from church today - no pictures of him in his Easter outfit (he slept for most of the afternoon) and no Easter egg hunt :sad1: Nonna and Pop Pop took DD to meet Mom Mom, Dee Dad, my sister, and BIL for Easter dinner. Nonna went to the local diner and got a cheeseburger and fries for me and a hot dog for DS, but he has barely touched it. Not much of an Easter dinner - I was looking forward to lamb!

I am still in the process of reassembling all the rooms from having the carpets installed. The carpet looks great!

Happy Easter. Sorry to hear that your ds son isn't feeling well. Hope he gets better soon. Your doing good on your list. Have you started paking yet? I got ds and dh pretty much packed. I still need to start on my stuff next.

Sorry to hear DS missed all the Easter fun. I hope he is feeling better. :) Your list is coming right along! Good for you! :thumbsup2

HAPPY EASTER for yesterday, I hope you had a lovely day. Sorry to hear DS was sick, I hope he is doing better now and fingers crossed he will be fine for your holiday . Did your DD dress up at all and do you have any pictures? And Well Done you for being such a great and loving mum and having a great business, you should be very proud of yourself and are an inspiration for others in your position :thumbsup2

Happy Easter! No, I haven't started packing yet. I plan on doing that this weekend. I also have to go shopping for myself since my clothes from last year are too big (a good thing, but starting to panic with the kiddos sick and trying to find time). Are the kids getting excited - you're down to 3 days!!!!!

Thanks! DS is feeling better but I took him to the pediatrician yesterday just to be sure. He has croup and DD has a slight cold so both on are the nebulizer treatments. You wouldn't know he was sick to see him running and playing the way he is though.

Happy Easter!!! How was your holiday? Post pics please! He is feeling better - he has croup. I will probably back the nebulizer and take it with us just in case. I have pictures - I need to upload them. Also have pics of DS in his new big boy Cars bed! Awwww - thank you! :goodvibes

Oh no! More invitations!! Sleep, who needs sleep!!??:rotfl:

I hope DS is feeling better! Poor little man!!

Hello!! I'm a little late getting into your trip report. I caught the link on someone elses TR. Can't figure out who though?? You are such a great planner. I love your attention to detail about planning your childrens clothing, food & everything. My DD is much like yours - never w/o a hairbow. I have a question, do you have an online store to sell your hairbows and such? I hope you have a great trip to the world! princess:

We have 2 days left now!! Yes, DS is getting so excited. He keeps getting his book out and looking at the things he wants to do and the Disney channel is always on. Have a good trip.

Ahhhhhh what cute clothes! I swear, between yours and Wendy's PTRs I'm going to be shopping at Baby Gap soon for kids I don't even have!:lmao:

:banana::banana::banana:I can't believe you only have 6 more days!:banana::banana::banana:

I'm caught up on your TR - yeah! Love all of DD Gymboree clothes. I wish I still worked there 40% emp discount. I worked there when DS was 3ish and he is 15 now. I have to say that I think that BB is much more kid friendly than TL. My DD (6) enjoyed BB and it was easy to keep an eye on her. TL has too many slides and hiding places. I also want to see those hairbows:cutie:.

It was great thanks. We only went down to Cornwall for a few days to a campsite we used to go every year when we were kids. We stopped going when I went to uni so it was nice to get back there after nearly 6 years and to show Nick. Luckily we had pretty nice weather, Sophie even went in the sea :scared:.

Poor DS, I hope he grows out of it soon. I used to have it when I was little quite badly, my Mum used to have to leave a steamer in my room every night (which made all the wallpaper come off ). Luckily when I got a little older I outgrew it and have been fine ever since. Cant wait to see the pictures :thumbsup2

LOOK AT THE LIST!!!!!! INVITES ARE ALL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!:dance3::yay::woohoo::cool1::worship:

I've been staying up until 5am or so for the past 4 nights - and they are done!

I rented a fisheye lens to take with me on the trip. Groucho who is on the photography boards has some awesome fisheye photos and hopefully some of his immense talent will rub off on me and inspire me to get some fantastic ones too. It just came today and is sitting in the box. I won't open it until the invites are in the mail and I get some laundry done or I will be playing with my camera all day!

I started shopping for some clothes for myself. I love the buy 1 get 1 $0.88 sale at JC Penney. I bought 6 skorts there on Wednesday (I don't wear shorts). This weekend I will probably go back , pick up some tops and see what else I find in my travels. Ex has the kids so I can focus on getting a lot of stuff packed and ready.

Tonight my mom and I are chaperoning the ARC prom. Either mom and I or dad and I do it every year. Dad is staying home with the kids.

Speaking of the kids, DS is doing TONS better. They are both still on the treatments but there has been a 110% improvement already.

Heading to the post office ...
