Girl, you did some good shopping! All that stuff is adorable, but OMG that tiny swimming suit is the best! :cutie:

P.S. I LOVE to procrasinate. :rolleyes1

I'm a shopping fool right now for the kids - haven't gotten anything other than the bag for myself!

I love all your shopping. The kids clothes are so cute, I love the little safari outfit. And I am glad you got your bag, its really nice and colorful.

Thanks - I can't wait to use the bag! I keep looking at it and have to say no only 19 more days ...

OMG love love loveeee your new bag, its perfect for spring and WHAT A BARGAIN! definitely a good buy :thumbsup2

all the kids clothes are adorable! its so easy to shop for little kids but its easy to get carried away and end up spending way more money than you planned! :rotfl:

Thanks! I'm so glad I bought it bc I would have kicked myself to see it bought after knowing it was 50% off!

Oh tell me about it! I've done more shopping for them! DS is doing awesome with clothes - harder time with DD. She only wears dresses or skirts.

Adorable clothes for the kids! My favorite is the flip-flop shirt with the capris! LOVE IT!

Nice bag! :thumbsup2 Good for you waiting till it was a good deal...patience sometimes pays off!

I love that one too! I'm hoping for warm weather soon (or will just have to wait for Disney) to see it on her!

You did some great shopping. Those outfits are cute. :)

Yesterday, we went shopping again with Mom Mom in the afternoon to Babies R Us. I discovered Tuesday night that some of the shorts for DS were either too long or too big in the waist for the trip but by June they would fit him which meant I needed to get a few pairs of shorts to be used only for the trip. Well, we did awesome! He got some great short/shirt sets.

Last night my mom and I headed out to the outlets that opened up near us right before Christmas. We hadn't been there but wanted to check it out since they have a Gymboree outlet. I bought a some stuff there, but it was hard since DD and DS had most of the stuff last year so I was trying not to rebuy too many things. I was hoping they would have the white sandals that DD lived in last year but no such luck. We also checked out GAP. I bought DS a pair of sandals and DD these water/sneaker sandals. They're ok - kinda cute, more to wear for play and to/from pool, etc. She still needs sandals to wear with her sundresses.

Once the kids lay down for their naps I plan to snap some pictures and get a tally of what they have and what they still need.

NEED OPINIONS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've been toying with the idea of going to one of the water parks this trip. The last time I went was in 2003 to Blizzard Beach. I went to Typhoon Lagoon in 1989. The thing is what can the little ones do? I know they have tot areas but anyone been there and which would be better for my 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 year olds?

Typhoon Lagoon
Ketchakiddee Creek, on the far left side of the park, provides wading pools, bubbling fountains and mini-slides & raft rides for the little ones. Children under age 10 should be accompanied at all times by an adult throughout the park. Also, remember that children of diaper age are required to wear snug-fitting rubber pants over their diapers, or special swimming diapers here and throughout the water park.

504052876_pB5db-M.jpg

Blizzard Beach
Tike's Peak is a kid-sized version of Blizzard Beach. Here children 4 feet tall and under (parents are allowed) can play in their own pools, ride their own slides, play in the pop jets and fountains, and much more. Just remember that children under 10 are not allowed admission into the BB unless accompanied by an adult.

SUCCESS! They are BOTH sleeping at the SAME time! Woo Hoo! Off to take some pictures... be back later to share!

Your list is shrinking by the day!! Good for you! I can't wait to see what you've bought! I love shopping!!:rotfl:

I dont really know as far as the kid areas are concerned, but in relation to the main pools the one at TL may not be too kid friendly as they let off big waves every 90 seconds or so. Its lots of fun for adults and older children but I am not sure for the little ones. I also prefer BB, the slides and lazy river are better, but again thats not from a kid friendly point of view. Glad your getting things sorted, and wahoo for 19 days

I'm trying! I have pictures uploading now! Silly me to think DD would sleep longer than 25 minutes! :rotfl2:

You're really hammering away at that list! NICE! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

HOORAY for 19 days!! :woohoo::woohoo:

Staying up till 2:30am is helping to get it all done! :thumbsup2 Right now I'm at a crossroads with the business, not accepting any more orders that need to be completed before I leave bc the wedding invites are such a large order or waiting to see if anything comes in and deciding from there.

Thank you for your thoughts! I loved the wave pool at TL back in '89 but I was a swimmer. Obviously the kids wouldn't be going in there. I figure that I could manage a lazy river with them in either place - sitting in the tube or one of them laying on me, the other on Nonna or Pop Pop. When I went to BB in 2003 my cousin was with us who was 4 but I went on the big stuff with her older sister so I didn't really catch a glimpse of the kid area.

We have never been to TL or BB, but I asked a friend of mine who's been to both which would be best for our DD4. She said BB by far. She said the kiddie area at TL has this rubberized stuff on the slides and the kids really can't move on it at all. Her kids liked BB much better.

We decided to skip it altogether once we got to Disney b/c my DD is still too young to do 80% of what they offer at the waterparks, and I just didn't think we would get our moneys worth. She was totally happy with the resort pool and it didn't cost a dime, so that's what we did. I think we made the right choice. Plus that gives us something new to do on a future trip. But I can't wait to hear how it goes for you no matter which park you choose!:)

I'm sure you already know this, but it is much cheaper to pay admission at the gate if you are only going to a waterpark for one day than to add the waterpark option to your ticket. Just thought I'd add that b/c a friend told us that little tidbit of info and I thought it was a great tip:)

Thanks so much for the insight! We'll see what happens when we get there too! BB looks like it might be better from the pictures I've seen as well.

We would just buy a 1 day ticket. We have APs so we're not upgrading to do a water park for 1 day only.

Thanks! The pictures seemed to look more kid friendly - those slides ... they don't look very tall but is there a height requirement?

Woo Hoo!

Thanks! I'm hoping to start some shopping for myself next week - it's raining here so I don't feel like walking in the rain to shop at the outdoor malls.

I had gotten the pictures loaded yesterday but then ran into a bit of a catastrophe with one of my invitation orders. The envelopes that I just ordered were not glued together - well they were put they were coming apart! Unfortunately, I didn't have any spare envelopes to fit this invite 71/2" square envelopes! So I had to place a very quick order with another supplier and have them UPS 2nd day air them directly to my client. I emailed her and let her know that the invites were being mailed today and that the envelopes would be arriving separately and included the UPS Tracking number. Her invitations will be mailed out today as I promised. I haven't heard back from her - I hope she isn't mad.

I think the kids are doing GREAT clothing wise, especially DS! DS doesn't need bathing suits - I have 5 that I got last year on clearance and they fit! I only got DD one on clearance so now she has 4 with the 3 that were bought this week. I'd like to get her one more 2 piece suit.

DS has 2 pairs of sandals, DD has the sneaker type sandals - she needs a white and brown pair. Both need a pair of crocs.

Anything else I'm forgetting?

Oh my gosh, I love shopping for lil' kids. They have some of the cutest stuff! Both the dresses and the shorts/tops stuff are great! That "Ready for Take off" shirt should be for the plane ride if you're flying! And that "Paris" dress should be for your Epcot day!

Another great shopping trip. Those clothes are so cute. I loved buying Gymboree for my ds when he was younger. I still get some stuff but now that he is bigger his style is changing. I pm you the other day. Did you get it?

You certainly know how to shop for your kids, you must have so much fun. All the clothes are lovely, the little surf shorts and tops and shirts are so cute. I love all the sundresses and the way you dress your DD. Jeans and shorts are cute, but my favorite style for little girls is definitley cute little sundresses and sandles like yours, really girly and cute. We use to have to dress Sophie is dresses, especially pink ones as everyone always thought she was a boy because she had no hair until she was a bit older, it was quite funny.

It's addictive shopping for them! We are flying so that may be his shirt - great idea! And the "Paris" dress she is going to wear when we eat at Chefs de France! Our ressie is at 6pm so I'm not sure if we will catch Remy or not. I hope we do but I'm not telling anyone about it so there will be no disappointment!

Yes, I did get it! We should definitely see each other - our ressies are for 5:25 at LTT! You shouldn't miss our group - 2 kids, 4 adults: me, my sister, BIL, and my dad (my mom doesn't arrive until Friday) - and me and my sister yelling at BIL and dad like they are the kids! :rotfl2:

It is lots of fun! I prefer dresses to pants/shorts on little girls. When I was little, I always wore dresses. My sister hated them, still isn't too fond of them. Last summer, we were in Wildwood which is a beach resort area with boardwalk and I was waiting online with DD to go on a ride. There were twins behind us and they were in sundresses and sandals like DD was. I said to the mother "They look so cute; you don't see little girls in dresses like you used to" She replied "Oh we went to dinner and I forgot their bathing suits and shorts to change back to" Oops! Did I feel silly!

Yes I agree :thumbsup2. Parents are too often trying to make their kids look cool, and most kids seem to be in jeans and tracksuits rather than cute little dresses. We always used to buy Sophie's clothes from this French catalogue and their clothes were mostly sundresses and sun tops, they were so gorgeous. I am still trying to dress her like that now

Woo Hoo!

Those slides are in the kiddie section and the one set I believe did have a height requirement but the othe little ones didn't and you could even go on and hold DD or DS! The ones that look like a open sliding board with about 4 lanes they don't have the requirement the ones that look more like mini water slides I think had a requirement . But they are very lil and kid friendly it's pretty cool! I liked it because I had my baby niece and she was 1 1/2 and she loved the one set of slides we could take her on! and the little animals shoot water so you can have like a water fight! :)
