What are the view for a standard room at the Yacht Club?

My family is plaaning a trip next February for The Yacht Club, but we don't want to spend the money on the pool or lake views. SO we'd have to stay at a standard view room. My question is what are the views there?

Are there any views besides that of woods? Are any specific views at standard rooms good?

Basically I'm asking what is the best view you can get by staying at a standard Yacht Club room?

The view we had when we booked a standard view at the YC was of the bus depot. It wasn't the nicest room we've had. We couldn't open the balcony door because there was the constant smell from the bus fumes. The noise through out the day made it impossible to take a nap.

I'm sure there are much nicer standard views, that was just our experience.

In 2002 we had a starndard view concierge room. It was one of the rooms connected to the big balconcy over the entrance to the YC. Not really that great of a view but we loved the huge balcony. It is actually a balcony for about 4 or 5 rooms but no one else was ever out there.
