What are the chances?

We are headed to WDW in 18 days and just found out that the day before we leave, friends of ours will be arriving. They booked an ADR for 'Ohana for 7 on the 30th and after the fact asked if we wanted to join them. Of course, at this point that's pretty much impossible but I was able to snag an ADR for 9:35 that night.

What are the chances that we'll be able to get an earlier ADR as the day gets closer? We've never been to 'Ohana before and this is only our 2nd trip with the kids so I've never tried to do last minute ADR's.

I have to say that if you are diligent you should be able to. We needed 3 more for August and I kept trying each day and I just got what I needed near the time of our other reservation.

If you don't get it before you leave - try when you are there. One year during February break it was a last minute trip and we wanted Ohana and BOG. We got both of them for a party of 8 while we were there. You should get it.

We love Ohana and go every trip. Enjoy!

Try Touring Plans Reservation Finder - you can sign up for a free account and utilize it. It will text you if a time pops up for your date and then you can try and grab it. If not, I agree with above poster about trying even while there, right up to night before. I was able to help friends get one while there over Christmas week - things open up as people finalize plans, and have to cancel by the night before to avoid fee.

I have an alert set up with TP so I'll just continue to try and hope for the best.
