what are the chances 2bdr in Jan at either OKW or SSR

Just curious. Finding it hard to wait till June. Thinking of making ressies in Jan. Any chance at this late notice to get a 2bdrm at either OKW or SSR?

Also, would have to stay off site first 2 nights any suggestions there are 2 adults and 4 kids so we need a suite I think.

I don't think you will have a problem finding something in January as long as you are flexible. My suggestion for staying off site is a weekend stay at Universal. Nothing beats front of line access to the rides and you can easily do everything with a two night stay.

I would love to stay universal but is it expensive and do they have the accom. for 6 of us the kids are 13 & 1. Any idea?
I tried going onto their sight but the info was contradicting itself, or I misunderstood it.

They do have family suites at the Hard Rock. Not sure if they do at the Royal Pacific but that is their least expensive hotel. You may be able to find some good deals there for January. Check out the Universal Resort Board here on the Dis.

I'd vote to stay at Universal as well (we haven't done this yet...but it's in our future).

Another option for off site is Holiday Inn Family Suites. I've heard lots of great things about it...they have some 2BR suites (and decorated kidsuites) and it's not expensive at all (compared to DVC).

we've been to universal in january and really, there's no need for front of the line, the place is pretty empty!

I booked our 2BR January vacation (16th-20th) last week at SSR, but there was availability at every resort except BW.
