Hi All,

I am taking my daughter who will be 1 yr and 4 months to Disney in November. Can you recommend and restaurants that she might enjoy. Any other suggestions would be appreciated with traveling with a child at this age. This is our first time to Disney and we need all the advise you can give.

Thanks

You may not want to do character meals quite yet. I took my daughter to WDW when she was 8 months old and was terrified of the characters the whole trip. We had several ADR's for character meals and she screamed and cried the whole time. You brobable want to do nice TS meals that you and your husband will like at this age.

Our first trip to Disney was when our DS was 1 yr and 2 months and he loved Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, It's a Small World, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan, the Carousel, and enjoyed the character meal we had which was at the Garden Grill in Epcot!

On our last trip in 2006 our youngest DD was 1 yr and 3 months and she loved those same rides but didn't care for the character meal which was ironically CRT! You would think the "face" characters would be less scary - but she didn't like them too much! She loved Pooh's Playful Spot and Minnie and Mickey's houses (I don't think we saw those back in 2002 when my son was 1).

The TTA would probably be a good one with a baby and the WDW Railroad! All 3 of my kids have always loved the monorail and the trains, as well as the boat rides!

The princess breakfast in epcot and chef mickey's for breakfast at CR or CRT in MK. The first time I took my dd she was 20mths old. We really didn't do anything special. I do however feel like if we would have taken her to eat at CRT it would have been wonderful for her first trip. If you can't do or don't want to use 2TS/pay for CRT the princess breakfast at epcot is a good compromise. Crystal Palace has Winnie the Pooh and Tigger and Piglet and 1900 Park Fare has Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger in the morning and for dinner it is Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the mice Suzie and Perla. At MGM they also have Play & Dine @ Hollywood & Vine. We ate there for breakfast in dec we have plans to go back but it will not be for breakfast I really didn't care for it. H&V has JoJo and Goliath and The Little Einsteins (they alternate 2 at a time) and they have little dance parties.

Thanks for the advise. I was getting a mixture of opionions. So I went ahead and booked for Cinderallas Royal Table and The Crystal Palace. I hope it is worth while. Any other suggestions would be great.
