What are the best days to travel??

Generally I think, midweek days are the best. My theory is that people like to travel from Sun to Sat or Sat to Sat. Maybe Wed to Tues seems too disjointed, but I think it's the cheap way to go.

Well...I would have thought the same as we originally were planning on flying from Tuesday to the next Thursday for our last trip. However, when I checked ATA's website I secured an air fare that saved me $200 if I went out that Monday instead of Tuesday.

You simply have to keep playing around with your dates.

I think it also depends how far out you book your trip. We booked our about 120 days out last time and it was cheaper to fly on Tues, Wed or Thurs.
