What are some places with the best creme brulee?

Hi everyone!

I only like creme brulee if it is really good quality. What are some of the places with really good creme brulee?

How is it at the Brown Derby?

We haven't tried it at Brown Derby, but DH (who is the major creme brulee lover in the family) votes for the maple creme brulee at Le Cellier and the one at Chefs de France. I am curious as to the opinions of others as dessert is a serious consideration for DH's ADRs.

DH and I were both quite disappointed with the creme brulee at The Concourse Steakhouse. Granted it is just our humble opinions and it may have been an "off night," yet it was very bitter and dry.

Just checked with DD, who is the creme brulee conisseur in the household. She says that the maple creme brulee @ Le Cellier is the best, with Chefs de France coming in 2nd.

She's a purist; she wants the basic, unadulterated stuff, without pistachios, key lime, whatever. But the maple flavoring sorta blessed her heart at Le Cellier.

1) Le Cellier - maple flavored
2) Chefs de France

These are both so good that even if I'm full, I'll still order it anyway....ARG! :goodvibes

Have a wonderful trip!

Fultons Crab House
Le Cellier
Brown Derby

Whenever I go to Disney, I must have creme brulee at the Brown Derby.
I have had the vanilla and the blueberry. If they would serve me that in a full size pie pan as a meal, I would be in heaven. There is nothing though like that first spoon full.

More votes for the Citricos and Brown Derby creme brulees (especially Citricos). The creme brulee at Mama Melrose's is also quite good.

I have had the butterscotch creme brulee at Coral Reef and the Bannana flavored creme brulee at Kona Cafe.

Ahh, I see someone mentioned Fulton's Crab House but did you know they serve a Milk Chocolate Creme Brule!

Chefs de France has wonderful creme brulee. I like traditional creme brulee, and Chefs de France makes it just right. :goodvibes

I second Fulton's for the chcolate one.

Wow! Thanks for all the great replies everyone!

I'll definitely have to try the creme brulee at the Brown Derby, since I already have an ADR there.

Now if only the next month would hurry up....I can't wait any longer!! :snail:

I'd like to mention the key lime creme brulee at CRT (if it's still on the new princess menu ... hold on, let me check all ears... oh dang! It's gone!)

Umm... does anyone know if any other WDW place serves that Key Lime Creme Brulee? It was my favorite (served with a graham cracker biscotti)...

Other than that, I second the Le Cellier and Chefs versions. Last time, we had a filet steak and creme brulee tour at WDW, and these two were awesome. Cellier had better flavor. Chefs had better texture.

By the way, has anyone had the chocolate banana brulee at Tony's? That one makes me curious...

Sunshine Seasons and LeCellier. Those are the favorites of the ones I've tried.
