Definetly -- get a massage! It's one of my favorite parts of vacation!! Renting a boat and puttering around is always fun and relaxing too. If you are lucky enough to get a vacation home on the water (we got one near southpoint last time) you can feed the ducks. That was fun - they came every morning when we called. We'd never seen anything like it (next to housepets -lol).

There are so many fun and relaxing things to do at OKW. Have fun and enjoy!

I took the landscape tour offered on Wed morning with the head horticulturist. It was free and very informative.

Tell me more about this landscape tour. Sounds very interesting. Is it offered most seasons, almost every Wednesday? How long does it last? Anyone else ever take it?

The tour was free and met at the main pool at 9am. I had read about it on this board. As a gardener I found it very interesting. It was just my Dad and I with the horticulturist and he led us around the pool area and surrounding grounds pointing out plants and their unique characteristics. The constaints of working in a semitropical habitat were discussed. Some of the plants had phenomenal growth rates. We signed up that morning at Hank's and it was free. The activity was listed in the daily happenings and I think happens year-round if their is interest.
