I am considering a side trip to Universal as part of a Disney Trip this summer. In looking at the tickets options on line, I'm wondering what to do. We are 2 adults, 2 kids (ages 4 & 8). Is one day enough (I'm a Disney Nut, so I dont' want to take too much time away from WDW), for both Universal parks, and if so what pass to I do ...the 1 day 1 park passes would not allow us to hop from US adn IOA?? I'd hate to have to buy 2 passes for each of us, just for one day?

Any help would be appreciated... Haven't done Universal since 91, when we had no children, and there was no IOA at that time.

Thanks.

I would do 1 day each at USF and IOA. You can try 1 day at both parks, but you will end up rushed and not seeing everything. Optimally, I would do 3 days.

You can buy a 2 day/2 park ticket or a 3 day/2 park ticket. You can buy tickets from www.visituniversal.com or 3rd party ticket brokers like www.ticketmania.com

I agree that one day would be too rushed. You could see most everything in 2 days if you stay onsite and have the magic room keys so you don't have to spend your time in line. You would then be spoiled at Universal and it would be hard to go back to WDW--at least that's what happened to us. We stayed at Universal for 3 days because we wanted a slower pace since we were there with our toddler and 3 other kids.
