What are my odds?

Can anyone tell me what my odds will be to be able to book AKLV for December at the 7 month window. If not very good, what should I do. My home is Saratoga. Should I book now for Saratoga and then try for AKL at the seven month. And what does mean when people say they call day by day.

Hi Stacey!!! I am in the same boat! I was also hoping to wait for the 7 month window to book at AKV for 12/13-12/18! After searching the boards a bit I guess there is a HUGE waiting list. Now I'm getting a bit nervous and was thinking of just booking SSR just in case!

Early December is one of the busiest times for the DVC resorts. You should book your home resort now so that you are guaranteed a place to stay and then try to switch at 7 months.

If you are sure you are going to go during a certain time period, ALWAYS book your home resort at 11 months (or as soon as you know). That way when the 7 month window opens you have some protection against being shut out completely.
