I don't recall the exact numbers, But It comes out to less than 400 per night with taxes (at least it did when I booked ours this morning and I assume this is true for Mommaof3 also). It is definitely worth you while if you have an AP.

I calculate it to be $373.53 but then 5 nights would be $1,868. Is AKL in 11.5% tax rate?

Well, I came out of my conversation more confused than ever. First, there were no rooms at all...then as we talked a few popped up...however, they were only suites. She said that the only resorts that were supposed to be available TODAY were Contemp, AKL, Mods, PC, and ASSpo. She stressed to try back tomorrow because she believed that today was supposed to be a "preview".

So at one point she says "Oh, contemporary is available at 149/night. That was for 10/28-11/4. $149/night in regular season? Huh? I didn't argue and I held it until I can see what happens tomorrow.

It sounds to me like they are trying to fill the less popular resorts before they start filling the more popular resorts.

That is exactly the AP Rate I got applied this morning; down from $473.87 per night WITH tax

10/20-10/24... I must have been asleep at the switch. I was up early this morning too, and it just slipped my mind to check mousesavers (although I thought I did....). I'm usually good about these kinds of things.. I'm dissapointed in myself. Sold out in all deluxes... and in all moderates.. I didn't ask about Pop and All Star...

I was really counting on the discount for POFQ, but was willing to spend a little extra w/ big savings at Wildy Lodge or even the Contemporary Wings....


Congratulations to those who got a great deal.. and I'll keep checking back in hopes of someone cancelling or another good rate coming out...

I got Pop Century for Dec. 10-19 for the 49+ tax rate. It was easy but the cm did say that those rooms were going very quickly. Just happy to save about $280.

Just got Beach Club standard view room for $224/night for Dec 3 -Dec 7 for a "mom's trip only" with 2 friends. All types of rooms were available at Beach Club, Concierge only at Yacht club and only villas available at Boardwalk. I asked about the pool renovation and she said according to her info, pool would not be closed until Jan 3.

Just got Pop for $69 a night for 1 night 10/22. Down about $30, so we are happy. I agree that it must be more because it is still regular season.

Pop for $49, 11/27 - 12/4. This was around 5pm with a 10 minute hold time. Originally wanted Fort Wilderness with our RV,(forgot about AP rates coming out) Will be paying $4 more than campsite!! The only losers here are our cat and dog who now will be staying home!

WooHoo! Got AKL standard view room for 134 + tax for a total of $897 for 6 nites 12/22 to 12/28!! That is about a 58% discount off rack rate!!! I NEVER expected to get such a good rate during holiday season. Our plans were to originally stay at WL, changed our minds to POP, then to CSR, fully planning CSR, but the rate at AKL was to good to pass up! Last year's AP rates weren't this good for holiday season were they?

We have never needed the AP# to apply codes to our reservations. The first time we did it (in May) we did not have the APs yet. We have also applied codes to 2 other reservations (for September & December trips) since then and were never asked for our AP #'s. I believe you just need to show it when you check in.
