What am I doing wrong?

Everything I'm downloading (passports, ABC book) to print out as a 4x6, never comes out to the right dimensions, it is just slightly off. I'm using Picasa to try and resize, and also have a picnic subscription, but that is it as far a photo software. I don't have a color printer, and pictures are much cheaper than actual copies for me. Thanks!

You need to save the design at the largest size avail. to your computer. Then, when you are ready to print, in your printer program you should be able to resize it from there to the desired dimensions. If it isn't saved at the largest size, you won't really be able to manipulate it.


I also suggest printing a greyscale sample FIRST - to make sure you have the correct size - this will save you from messing up whatever you are going to use as the invite - I suggest cardstock, but you can use whatever you prefer. I know a lot of people use the pre-cut blank cards/envelopes you can get from staples or somewhere like that.
