I've been recruited to help assemble the wedding programs for a friend of a friend. The programs are going to be 8 pages, with the text on regular paper, matted on cardstock and then attached to the regular paper of the program itself. She has to make 150 programs and she asked me what adhesive I would recommend.
Everything seems to have its pros and cons. I use photo mounting squares for my scrapping so at first I thought about those. But each page would need 8 squares (paper to cardstock - 4, cardstock to paper - 4) times 8 pages per book times 150 programs = a lot of boxes of mounting squares.
I hate glue sticks because they are messy, but they would certainly stretch a lot farther. I also don't like glue sticks because I feel they don't hold well with the heavier cardstock. I haven't seen the cardstock she's using yet so I don't know how heavy it is.
Glue dots, Zig glue pens, tape runners - too expensive, need too many.
And they need to be done in the next two weeks so it has to be something we can get at ACM or Mike's - nothing online.
So, what is your recommendation for an adhesive that would be easy to use, will hold up well, and be reasonably priced?
TIA!
