After spending a week at Disney and going through the process of a tour to add on to our points DH and I discussed the ideas of having additional benefits as a member. Realizing that there are 80,000 members I know Disney can not bend over backwards for each and every one. But some of these I think would be an added incentive to purchase. Plus those that are members would be more likely to spend time at Disney while on grounds then other places. I know the disucssion of having free hopper passes or a greater discounts for them has already been discussed therefore it is not in the poll. Any one have any thoughts?

I voted other. I would like to see a discount on annual passes. I would be thrilled if they extended the 10% off to annual passes (now only good for UPH's). That would be about $39 per ticket.

I would also like to see the Disney Dining Experience Card that is now only for Florida Residents be extended to DVC members.

Actually, there are two perks I'd like to see.

1) A standard, reasonable (Disney still has to make $$) property wide discount at all Disney owned and operated food and souvenir establishments (except, maybe counter service food). Maybe 10 to 15%, at least enough to cover sales tax.

2) Mini van transport for those members that have PSs for dining and dinner shows at other resorts. Arrangements could have to be made 24 hours in advance to give the resort bell sufficent tiume to schedule a route, possibly taking several parties at once on a "loop" to venues, and have a pre-arranged pickup time for the return trip. Mini vans should NOT be used for transport to meal reservations at parks. Only at resorts. There could also be a reasonable charge for this service, but it would be worth it if your only alternative was bus transportation.

My wife and I once went through a nightmare trying to get from BWV to WL for dinner reservations at Whispering Canyon. After asking numerous CMs for directions, we left a full hour in advance, walked through EPCOT to catch the monorail and switch to a boat at Magic Kingdom. Since the park was closing early this particular day, the boats were ridiculously overpacked. Needless to say, we never made it to our reservations and ate at the Contemporary food court (horrible) instead. The personal van would be a great idea, especially when traveling from one place to another that do not have a direct connection.

Voted prior to reading you full post. However, I would still like a discount on Annual Passes. That also would encourage more spending at WDW because one would be more likely to visit more often.

We also agree that DVC should discount annual passes for DVC Members like they do for Florida REsidents.

I like the idea of being able to use the DVC Van for dinner reservations at other resorts. It is such a hassle to go from resort to resort without a car!

i feel the fast passes, for DVC members, would be wonderful and encourage more sales, for potential new dvc members.

What would it cost DISNEY??

I agree that a logical perk (and one that would encourage us to buy more points to make more trips) would be a discount on annual passes. Although I wouldn't mind the fast pass idea either!

Good AP discount would benefit us the most, but if that is not possible, a DVC FP system would be pretty cool :)

A discount on annual passes that is equal to the FL Resident Annual Pass. Other pass discounts too!!

Hi,

I voted for DVC van transport to other resort but an annual pass discount would be good too.

Yeah... AP discount would be good, but I voted for the fast pass access.... It would triple our park pass value.

discount on annual passes or a seasonal pass even though not
florida resident. Fast passes would be nice but not really needed during the times we usually go.

I voted other, as I would like to see a discount on Annual Passes.

The two I was looking for weren't listed:

More DVC merchandise available through catalogue.
Greater discount on park passes.

I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE DVC TO OFFER A DISCOUNT ON HOPPER PASSES. WE DO NOT NECESSARILY WANT TO GO TO PARKS EVERY DAY WE ARE THERE SO WE ONLY BUY HOPPER PASSES SO WE DON'T PAY FOR UNUSED DAYS, BUT ALAS THERE IS NO DISCOUNT ON THE HOPPERS.

Fast passes used by DVC members allow DVC members to walk on in without a return time

How would this work? Could you just get a fast pass and the walk right in? Wouldn't that be like an unlimited front of the line pass?

One more vote for discounted Annual Passes. I know how to use Disney transportation so that doesn't help me and the small discounts at resturants and shops aren't much help either. We will be paying well over $2000 this year for our passes. Next to air fare it's now our largest Disney expense.
