The DVC Miscellaneous Board can be found by clicking on Disney Vacation Club. It is a sub forum just like this one. You'll have to search back a few days to find the report...maybe Tuesday or so?
I didn't sleep on it so I can't really say if it's any more comfortable, sorry I didn't take a picture, I didn't even notice that it was new till the day I was leaving.
We were in a two-bedroom room 333 last week and the sofa bed was a new one, it is the one-piece sort of thing where the sofa cushions stay fixed on and there isn't a bar. It seemed comfortable to me but I didn't sleep in it. There is a little pocked behind the cushions sort of that holds the pillows and blankets when it is folded.

Some of the rooms at OKW have them, but as of a few weeks ago, the dreaded "bar" still existed on some of those OKW sofa-beds. Let's hope for a new one next time.

We were at BCV earlier this month and had this sofa-bed. I slept on it a couple of nights, and it's sleepable. Certainly not the most comfortable bed I've ever been in, but far from the worst.
It had no bars, and was very easy to open and close. It's kind of an ingenious design, but it does have some pieces-parts which protrude in odd places and could cause injury if you get up in the middle of the night.
But, it was a sofa bed, not a bed. Definitely not an OKW queen!
