Wow! That would be great! :goodvibes My main issue is trying to make still images (a photo) from video I've shot. I'm sure there is someway to do it! I'd love to be able to print these images and also share them on The DIS! :thumbsup2

Nassau, Bahamas

One of the highlights of the cruise was the free room service! I loved waking up every morning to a knock at our door and all the wonderful food that just seemed to appear in our room.

We slept-in the first day because we weren't in any rush to get off the ship. DH decided to surprise me with part of my birthday gift and I opened a box to find a cute little Mickey crystal with my birthstone, an emerald. I loved it!

It was our day in Nassau, so we decided to do a little exploring.

Here's another shot of our DIS'ed out door! The sign in the middle says,

"You just spent 4 glorious nights on the Disney Wonder! Now, what are you going to do?
We're going to Disneyland for the "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End World Premiere!"

It was a humid and muggy day in Nassau! We decided to get a good look at the Wonder it port, since we hadn't gotten to see it too up close. It was magnificent!

We didn't see too many people around. There weren't too many people on the ship, so I guess a lot of people decided to make a trip over to Atlantis.

Great update, as usual! I'm really enjoying hearing about your cruise - I've never cruised before. I want to go on one of the Disney cruises, someday though. And - free room service! Cool! I really have to take this cruise one day.

Your matching outfits were very cute. I love your PoC shirt, also. Can't wait to hear more about your visit to Nassau. It's one of my favorite places to go on vacation - second to WDW, of course! ;)

More please! :thumbsup2

We made our way around Nassau and did some sightseeing.

We were worn out from walking around Nassau because it was so hot, so we decided it was time for us to go back on the ship and enjoy some lunch. We saw that Triton's was opened and I couldn't wait to try it out!

n25002324_32214806_3149.jpg

We started out with the nachos and they were fantastic! I had the risotto and DH had a hamburger. We couldn't fill-up too much because we had reservations at Palo's for dinner!

n25002324_32214809_3911.jpg

We went exploring around the ship and decided to hang out in the Route 66 area, which is so neat! We even found some old bar games we could play!

Love the pic of you in the porthole.
We never ordered room service even once........we will change that on our upcoming 7 night cruise though.
Thanks for the updates......

Lindsey-

DH doesn't know off hand what you need to do so he is going to do some tinkering around and see what he can come up with. I'll PM you if he comes up with anything. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Hi all! :surfweb:

It's late and I know, no new Trippie installment! :scared: I promise to have the new installment later today or tomorrow (my time,) since I haven't gotten to bed yet.

I've been on the computer all day trying to upload my videos I shot on our vacations and I am having the hardest time! It's driving DH & me nuts! :headache:

We even bout a new editing program, MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 12, and can't get it to work! I've got a new Sony Handycam DCR-DCD105 that I got for Christmas and I am simply just trying to get my videos on to our computer, be able to edit them a little, and the upload them to the internet. It is seeming impossible! :coffee:

Is anyone computer "savvy" around here? pirate:

I could really use some help!

Also, I am really trying to create still images (pictures) from the video I shot. I know there has to be someway to do this! I'm so confused! HELP! :confused3

We also just bought DVD Ripper Platnium because I think we determined we couldn't edit our videos because they are .VOB files and they need to be .MPEG! So lost....

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it! :flower3:

Thanks and I'll get back to the Trippie soon!

Hi! Not sure if this will work for you, but we did this recently with video footage that we had taken and it worked...

Pause the image you want to capture, and hit Control and Print Screen at the same time. Then, bring up the image and paste it in a program like Photo Shop and crop the image and save it. That is the easiest way we were able to save images from a video file. Hope this helps! :)

ohhhh, i'm so happy i found your newest trippie!!! yah! ok i'm gonna start it now!!!

YAY Lindsey !!! I've been waitin' for this trippie to appear !!! :woohoo: You and your hubby looked so CUTE in your matching dinner outfits :flower3:

Welcome back Lindsey! (and belated happy birthday:cheer2: ) I have been eagerly anticipating your new trippie, and am so glad that you had a great time. Can't wait to hear the rest and also to hear about Disneyland. Loved your matching outfits.

Kristi

Thanks! I'm glad to be back! :woohoo:

Two days late? I'm TWO days late!?!! I've been neurotically checking the board to see if you'd started.

Needless to say I'm hopping on board. So far it sounds SO amazing. What an awesome gift from your family, and you look like you're having SO much fun. I'm so glad you had a great time and I can't wait to read all about it!

:rotfl2: Oh, no! You must catch up! :goodvibes I'm glad you found my Trippie! So much to write about and so many pictures to post! :surfweb:

You have no idea how glad I am to have another one of your trip reports to read and re-read! :cool1: I've never done a Disney cruise but definitely want to, so I'll be hanging onto your every word. What a wonderful birthday present!!

I was so glad I got to celebrate my birthday on board and I can't wait for us to book another cruise! Hopefully, not too far in the future! :goodvibes

Love the pic of you in the porthole.

You must try the room service! It's great! We even had room service for dinner one night, as you will see when I continue the Trippie. :goodvibes I hope I can start planning a 7-night cruise soon! 4-nights is just not enough!
