We went to DLP on the 17/09 for 3 days and 2 nights, staying at the Sequoia Lodge hotel and had just the best time ever. When we arrived at the hotel at 11:45am, they had room ready and we managed to get a free upgrade to a room in the main hotel instead of the lodges, where we should have been. The hotel is great, breakfast although busy was smoothly run and we waited no more than 5 minutes to be seated. Walk to the parks from the hotel was quick and easy and the weather was good for us too. Loved both parks, the rides and the parades. My 1 yr old loved meeting Winnie and cried when she had to say goodbye. Lots to do for all ages, which I was pleased about because our other children are 11yrs and 13 yrs and was a bit worried they wouldn't have much to do but they had a fab time.
Thinking about going again next year as we are well and truely hooked!!!
2 questions I have are -

Booking for next Aug, is it better to wait to nearer the time or book early?

Best site to find out what the prices are likely to be next summer? because I won this holiday, I have no idea really!

Can't wait to go again!!

Yey another one with the DLP bug - its completely infectious you know ;).

There have been some really good offers in the last couple of years - to get an idea of prices for next August, wait until the next DLP brochure comes out (should be November some time I think) then whatever the price you see there is, cut it by 30% up to 40% (those have been the most common offers for summer season this past year). Eurostar gets more expensive the longer you leave it to book - you can phone them and book your seats 6 months in advance.

Welcome back, glad you enjoyed your trip:goodvibes

Glad you had such a fab time :D
I'm going in November but already itching to price up a trip next June! You can look at this year's brochure as a guide but best thing is to wait for next brochure.
Then keep an eye on this forum and the Disneyland website, and when you see a deal you like for your dates, pounce on it!

Yay! So glad you enjoyed the Sequoia Lodge and how nice to have an upgrade. Have fun planning your next trip!:goodvibes:surfweb:

If you want to go in August and want to take Eurostar then that part is worth booking early as seats can go quickly in peak times. As for the actual booking with Disney, it's worth seeing what deals they have as filling the hotels to occupancy doesn't seem to happen too often for them. We went last week and I waited till June to book, and got 40% off.

Glad you had a great time :)
