DH and I returned home yesterday from our Disney trip. It was our 2nd trip to Disney with a 30 year gap between trips. Our stay at the Yacht Club was lovely even with the painting going on in the lobby. Our room (1083) was on the first floor close to the gazebo facing Storm-a-long Bay. Not too far to walk to the Market or lobby and yet very quiet.
We enjoyed exploring the parks, riding rides, seeing shows and eating tasty dinners (too many!) we did the Savor the Savanna experience at Animal Kingdom and absolutely loved it. There were 5 guests that evening and we had as many cast members taking care that we all enjoyed ourselves. We went on the 6:15 tour and the temperature cooled down and a breeze settled in as the sun set. This seemed to get the animals up and moving more. The lions even vocalized for us. So cool!
The meal was light but tasty which suited us as we had eaten lunch at Sana’a (which I also highly recommend).
We decided not to book a bounceback but will schedule a trip to take our granddaughter sometime in the next couple of years.
Thank you to all on the Disboards for so many helpful tips that made our trip go so smoothly!
