What a disaster!!

Welcome back. I was just wonder where were you. How's the wedding plan coming along??

Thank you.

Welcome back Ledger. I heard the rain at Florida was really bad. Lots of flooding going on. Glad you still have a fun trip anyway. I will check out the new pics.

LOL... I used to love video arcade. Pac Man, Dragon Lair, Galaga, Missile Command, Tempest, Centipede, Street Fighter, Mortal Combat...and my personal favorite "Robotron2084". At one point, I was looking to buy an original full size Robotron2084 video arcade but it was too expensive.

Top Dog,

If you love video games, esp classic game, you have to spend some time at Disney Quest. They have all the games you mentioned, plus more.

Keep watching eBay and Craigs List. You may get lucky and find what you are looking for. We have both a Dig Dug and Ms. Pac Man full size arcade game. It took me 6 - 8 months of watching eBay to find a Dig Dug close enough for us to be able to go and pick up because we refused to have to pay for shipping which would have doubled the price of the game.

I think my DH took pics of the Steam Train tour so once I have pictures uploaded I'll start our TR.

THanks! Yeah it was pretty nasty. When it rained at MK we had to walk through a "lake" just to get to the Ferry back to the Parking lot. Seriously, it was above our ankles! :scared1: I'm just glad the rain was warm instead of the cold kind.
Yikes!! Warm rain...now that's some thing you don't hear up north. We have rain today and it is far from warm. We are below 50 degrees right now.
Thanks for all the wonderful pictures and entertaining TR. It was great.
Thank you. I still have more up my sleeves. :surfweb:

Bummer!! Now you tell me. I guess I have to go down there to see it in person. :rotfl:

I used to love Dig Dug too. I have checked eBay for a while. I did found one a few years back and it was a brand new coffee table version of Robotron2084. It was custom build for a Williams Electronic executive but he never play it. The seller was at North Carolina and I was willing to borrow my neighbor's truck to go pick it up. Unfortunately, the asking price was $3,000. Way more than what I am willing to spend.

I can't wait to see the steam train tour pics. BTW, did you give you a pin after the KTTK tour??

New development!!!! I haven't even finish my web site for all my Disney pictures and a scrapbook waiting to start. Now, I am adding another project under my belt. I must be begging for punishment. :lmao:

I am creating a vacation photography book. It will be a soft cover with somewhere between 12 -24 pages. I am very exciting about this new project. This project will be a lot more difficult than people might think. I have close to 700 complete pictures but only about 70-80 images will make the cut. Every images must be re-process and go through color adjustment for print purposes. Typically images you post on internet are not suitable for printing.

I have a few of the world best color printers at my disposal but I would rather outsource to the online vendor. They have better paper selection. Even if I choose to print it myself, by the time I purchase all the material, it would still be costly.

Any way, here is a first rough draft of my world premier book cover.

Very nice, Topdog! I have really enjoyed your TR and your pictures are amazing. Good luck with the photography book.

yeah it rained here today too and it was cold rain. Blah! I miss Florida already! :sad1:

wow that looks totally awesome!!!! Can't wait to see pictures of the finished project! :thumbsup2

Hey Topdog!

I was a couple of udates behind, but am all caught up now. The early morning photos are some of my favorites, even with the fog. All of the food looks fantastic. Your book project looks like a lot of fun as well! Can't wait to see how it all comes together.

Your books looks amazing. Literally like the books they sell at Disney or any tour books. I'm so envious of your photos, because I go to Disney with 2 pre-schoolers, I don't take anywhere near enough photos and I always regret it afterwards so I get to live vicariously though your photos. Somehow though your vacation seems more relaxing than mine. ;)

Ah HA!!!! the truth comes out -- you left us hanging about wallet and pokey foot, with wimpy excuses about work, and all the time you were working on other projects!!! tsk tsk :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl2::laughing:

This must be the all-time award-winning LONGEST time to finish a one-week trip report, TD!

(But we keep hanging in, because we love ya, man! Your photos and style, and attention to us posters is wonderful).

So glad that there's more to look forward to! I just hope it includes a pounds gained/lost count with all that incredible food you polished off! :rotfl:

Yep we did get a pin after the KTTK tour. My DH also got one after the Stream Train Tour. I'll have to take pictures of both of them and put them into my TR so you'll just have to wait and see what they look like. :lmao: I know the suspense is going to get to you.

Dig Dug is my DH's favorite all time arcade game so of course we had to get that one first. Right now it's actually sitting in my 2 year old's room so my DH doesn't get to play as often as he would like. I'm sure if you keep looking and know what your willing to spend you'll find one. That is if it's something you still really, really want.

Photography book, eh? Great idea. I cannot wait to see the finished product. ;)

Oh, what a good idea to do a photograhpy book. I'm sure the finished product will be great, can't wait to see it.

Well, I'm not surprised about the photography book. Tell me, though, is this just for your own personal self or will it be for real published and distributed? You may have answered this somewhere above, but I have been bad and not read all the posts (busy, busy!).

Welcome back. I was just wonder where were you. How's the wedding plan coming along??

Sweet of you to ask, thank you. Things are going well - we've treated ourselves to a stretch Hummer on the day! Thankfully the exchange rate has improved so we are going to be paying everything off sooner rather than later and still have more spending money. All good :goodvibes

I love the idea of the photo book - I'll buy one!!

Hello TopDog, I fell off the wagon for a bit, wallowing in self-pity because I had to cancel my trip in May with my GD:sad2: but took her to SeaWorld instead for a day and she had a great time. We are planning to go for our trip in September instead, hopefully can get her there for the Halloween Party:wizard: Anyway, I have a lot of catching up to do with your report and am looking forward to it, just popped here to the end and noted that you are doing a photography book which I think is a wonderful idea! I often think of your beautiful pictures and would love to purchase one, hopefully you can get it published or set up a site to sell it. I'm definitely in, such unique views you come up with, would be a perfect coffee table book for Disney fans! Good luck:cheer2:

Thank you for the compliment.

Yay!! GB is back. I am sure you should be ready for your TR aren't ya?

LOL... Thank you mecllap. My TR is not nearly last as long as some of the other I've read. Some of them went on for almost a year. :scared1:
So glad that there's more to look forward to! I just hope it includes a pounds gained/lost count with all that incredible food you polished off! :rotfl:
Actually, I never weight myself. However, I believe I did gain about 8-10lbs after the trip. After 3 months, I think I am back to normal now.

Cool!!! :thumbsup2 Now I need to see what does the steam train tour pin looks like.

I will post how I assemble the book electronically before submit to the vendor.
Oh, what a good idea to do a photograhpy book. I'm sure the finished product will be great, can't wait to see it.
Thank you. With the amount of pics you have, you should able to create one of your own too.

This book will be for my own. However, if there are enough interest, I can sell it thru the internet without a publishing company.

Really...you will buy my photo book?! WOW!! I might have to rethink about this.

Very sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip. Let's hope it will all work out for the September trip. :goodvibes
WOW!! Another one who would buy my book. Now I really have to rethink my strategy. Let see how's my first copy look like first. I am planning to have about 24 pages but I can always add more pages later on. Create my own book isn't exactly cheap. It starts with $25 for 12 pages, then I can add 4 pages at a time for $0.50 per page. By the time I get to 24 pages, the book itself will be $31.
However, if there is enough interest, I can always print and make the book myself. I do have a friend who own a print shop. I just need to figure it out how much the material will cost.

Well, here I will show you how lousy my pictures are...this is from this weekend, remember I had to cancel my Disney trip for my GD this month but took her to SeaWorld instead...well, I was thinking about you too when I had my trusty,,,evil,,,camera and decided to take picture of my plate...
100_2741.jpg
hmmm, did not come out like TopDog's :confused3

I will try again at the Underwater Shark Grill and take picture of the awesome atmosphere there...no it really was pretty,,,just can't tell from my pictures:headache:
100_2919.jpg

Then, I try with GD but at this time she is tired of me and my sorry photography skills. She just made a sound like Hmmph! and turned her back :snooty:

Now I am in awe of the TopDog even more..that picture taking stuff is not easy!!:worship:

Don't be so hard to yourself. Those condition isn't exactly easy to take pictures, indoor and very limited lighting. It takes time and practice to fine tune your technique. I don't always get it under those condition as well.
