What 1 park at WDW do i go to on my spare UNIVERSAL DAYS

What is it in Epcot that everyone loves the most? This park would be probably my last choice. Just curious.

It's not so much about it being a favorite.. but it's definitely a full day park. Between Future World and World Showcase, there's a lot to see and do.

None of my favorite attractions are there (my WDW fave and possible all-time theme park fave would be Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at DHS..) but plenty of solid ones are.

I personally wouldn't visit MK if a trip to Disneyland is in the works. Disneyland improves upon everything at MK except *maybe* Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and MK has Mickey's Philharmagic.

I really like walking around World Showcase. Its incredibly themed! Plus, as others have said, it seems the most laid back of the Disney parks. Its relaxing to grab a seat at the outdoor cantina in Mexico and sip on a margarita.

Interesting observations here. So Epcot is perhaps the most like the Universal parks?

You posted this question on the Disney side of the boards?

Are you okay? Did you take a beating? Do we need to call Cyber 911?  :rotfl:

Okay, all kidding aside...

I love the Magic Kingdom. If I could only visit one park, that would be my first choice. However, if you feel that would be too close to DL and are looking for something different, each of the other parks has something to offer.

AK is my least favorite of the 4 parks. It is a half day park for me. Don't get me wrong. I think it is a great park and has a lot of stuff to offer, but it is personally my least favorite. I enjoyed the safari ride the first time I did it and the all the other animal stuff, but I couldn't get past the fact that I could do that other places. Sure, it had the unique Disney spin on it... and they've added a lot of things other than the zoo-like animal stuff... but I've never lost that feeling. That is just me.

I love Epcot. It is probably my next favorite behind MK. Even the stuff that people complain about being "dated" like Spaceship Earth and Universe of Energy, I still love. Space, Test Track, the Seas, the Land, Soarin'... I love all the rides. Sometimes we don't even make it out onto the World Showcase, but I love that walk too.

Hollywood Studios falls somewhere in the middle. My kids love it. It has the Playhouse Disney Live show and Star Tours. For that reason alone, they think it is great. I enjoy the shows and the feel of the park. ToT is a fun ride and RnR is one of the best rollercoasters.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong. Look at the list of rides and shows at each park and pick what sounds like the spot you'd have the most fun.

HEHEHE! :lmao: Yeah i did post on the other side. I wanted the disney fans input and the Universal fan input.

Did you say you have a two year old in another thread? If so I would go to the MK. In fact that is probably the park I would pick regardless.

I asked this on the disney forums and a couple of ppl said i should scrap my universal trip and do only WDW:rotfl2:

I Am not going to do that .........I have been to Disneyland a few times already and may end up going again sometime later this year when i visit my dad back homein Cali.

Question is..........is EPcot worth going?:rolleyes1

Just to be different - we're in a similar position with one free day for Disney, we're planning to do Typhoon Lagoon. Its the one park Universal, Seaworld, Busch can't match. Though I might change my mind in a few weeks time after visiting Aquatica.

No, not at all. EPCOT has a completely different vibe.

I'd say the most like the Universal parks is Disney's Hollywood Studios. Although Universal beats it (more rides, less outdated), as far as type of attractions in the park, it's probably the most similar.

The closest thing to a Universal experience with Disney is a visit to the Disneyland Resort in California. 2 great parks within a few steps of each other, 3 on-site hotels (can walk to the parks in minutes), shopping/restaurant district steps from the parks. Sound familiar?

But DL is insanely busy.
