I asked this on the disney forums and a couple of ppl said i should scrap my universal trip and do only WDW:rotfl2:

I Am not going to do that .........I have been to Disneyland a few times already and may end up going again sometime later this year when i visit my dad back homein Cali.

Question is..........is EPcot worth going?:rolleyes1

Epcot is alright for a choice, they have a decent selection of rides there with Mission Space, Test Track, and a few other good ones there. If you never been to Epcot before I would say go there, you'll probably have more to do there then at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

Yes...I enjoy Epcot when I want to relax. That might sound funny but I find it relaxing to walk around World Showcase. My favs are France, America, Canada and Mexico. In Future World, there are some great rides. Soarin, Spaceship Earth, Test Track and Mission Space are my favs. The International Flower & Garden Festival is going on now and I love to see all the topiaries and flowers. It would be a very nice day.

We (the kids and I) would say Epcot. It's our favorite park. Their second choice is Hollywood Studios (MGM) but mine would be Animal Kingdom.

It would all depend on what new rides are there that I hadn't seen.

If I had ridden all new rides, first choice would be MK and second HS (simply for Tower of Terror).

Don't overlook Magic Kingdom. It might be fun to compare it with the much smaller Disneyland.

OTOH, if you're looking for something new, Epcot would be my choice, if only because it's so famous.

You posted this question on the Disney side of the boards?

Are you okay? Did you take a beating? Do we need to call Cyber 911?  :rotfl:

Okay, all kidding aside...

I love the Magic Kingdom. If I could only visit one park, that would be my first choice. However, if you feel that would be too close to DL and are looking for something different, each of the other parks has something to offer.

AK is my least favorite of the 4 parks. It is a half day park for me. Don't get me wrong. I think it is a great park and has a lot of stuff to offer, but it is personally my least favorite. I enjoyed the safari ride the first time I did it and the all the other animal stuff, but I couldn't get past the fact that I could do that other places. Sure, it had the unique Disney spin on it... and they've added a lot of things other than the zoo-like animal stuff... but I've never lost that feeling. That is just me.

I love Epcot. It is probably my next favorite behind MK. Even the stuff that people complain about being "dated" like Spaceship Earth and Universe of Energy, I still love. Space, Test Track, the Seas, the Land, Soarin'... I love all the rides. Sometimes we don't even make it out onto the World Showcase, but I love that walk too.

Hollywood Studios falls somewhere in the middle. My kids love it. It has the Playhouse Disney Live show and Star Tours. For that reason alone, they think it is great. I enjoy the shows and the feel of the park. ToT is a fun ride and RnR is one of the best rollercoasters.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong. Look at the list of rides and shows at each park and pick what sounds like the spot you'd have the most fun.

I would say either epcot or Animal kingdom.
For my family it would be hard to decide between those 2.

I'd say EPCOT or Animal Kingdom as well.

If you're paying for a full 1-day, 1-park ticket at Lord knows how much it costs right now, I'd say EPCOT.

I say Epcot....Animal Kingdom doesn't hold my interest for more than 1/2 a day at most.

My order of preference for the parks is

EPCOT - well the best.

followed jointly by US, IOA and Disney Studios

MK

then AK and Sea world (never been to Busch)

so yeah....EPCOT is well worth going. :thumbsup2

Busch Gardens in Tampa stinks compared to the Busch Gardens in Virginia. I never liked that park very much, it's not worth the trip if you ask me.

What is it in Epcot that everyone loves the most? This park would be probably my last choice. Just curious.

I disagree and actually prefer Busch Gardens Tampa to Animal Kingdom in many areas.

Agreed...the only reason I go to AK is for Dinosaur and Everest...that's it.

I like the wide open walkways and it doesn't seem crowded to me. I go to the MK more but when I want to relax, I head to Epcot.

I think of it as 2 parks in one, just a lot of different types of attractions, ...the seas, club cool, drinking around the world, test track, seeing the 360 movies in China and Canada, plus American Adventure is still my favorite show at Disney, then there's illuminations, the only other fireworks show besides Wishes.

I love MK as well but often its too crowded to fully enjoy everything.

The monorail trip in is excellent and takes you around the park.

The design of the buildings / attractions is first class and unique

The place is spacious and handles crowds really well.

Top attractions like Soarin, Space and Test Track are one of a kind rides.

The educational side of things and side attractions are good and interesting.

Good stuff for the little ones in the Living Seas and near HISTA

The lagoon and all the different places of the world is superb, as is the choice of food there

Illuminations is excellent.

I agree with both of the above posts.

Epcot is my fav park too. We like it, because of WS. The atmosphere in the evening is unbeatable. We divide our days between all parks, but spend most evenings in Epcot. I also love the way Epcot never seems over crowded. That said, if I had small kids, I'd go to MK instead.

My WDW & UO park preferences:
1) Epcot
2) IOA
3) MK
4) US
5 & 6) DHS & AK - Both are at the most 1/2 day parks for us. Some trips we skip them all together.
