What’s going on with Olivia’s

We have a trip coming up soon and Olivia’s doesn’t have any availability and hasn’t shortly after the 60 day period when we first checked. Is this possible. Every time we have been to WDW there has always been availability day of there, even when we went in April. We have a reservation there but have been looking to get a different time.

As a family who frequents OKW, I have always thought/believed that Olivia's minimizes their reservations in order to always be able to accommodate a certain number of walk-up guests actually staying at OKW. If they do actually do this, I certainly appreciate the fact that they do. Olivia's is one of the few restaurants on-property where, more time than not; you actually can walk up and get in. Have a contingency plan, but know that if you're willing to ride over there, more than likely you will be seated.

I think you may be right on this. We stay there many times and different times of the year it being our home resort and are always able to get a table...ºoº

I don't normally pre-book Olivia's, but I DID make reservations for my upcoming trip during Thanksgiving Week, I pre-booked at least one table service meal per day, whether it be Olivia's or in the parks, and will fill in with Breakfast and Sandwiches/snacks in the room.

If you are staying there, Olivia's Cafe To Go is a great option, especially for breakfast. We walked over and picked up our order, and enjoyed it on the patio while watching the golfers.

Olivia’s is amazing and the fact that it’s becoming more difficult to get a reservation is not a surprise. Luckily the walk up times aren’t too bad and it’s so beautiful there it’s not a pain to wait. I actually don’t mind waiting because it means I get to enjoy an ‘Olivia’s Strawberry Lemonade’ from the gurgling suitcase!

We were there in early November and ordered from Olivia's on the app (which also automatically gave the DVC discount). I picked up at the Goods to Go area outside. It was a bit disorganized and slow, but the food was hot and tasty.

My DSs family was just there a week ago. Enjoyed mobile order a few times from Olivia’s. The one time they forgot to include their breakfast meat (ham? I believe). They called, turned out they were So apologetic, they comp’d the whole order…classy

Did a dinner walk up at Olivia's on the 11th with four of us. Only had to wait 15 minutes.

You will love the buttermilk chicken! My recommendation is to get some extra gravy on the side!
