@Meriweather i had not heard of cheddars. Thanks for posting it looks like DH would like their menu. I’ll have to keep in mind if we are traveling.
Not many around us. We tried it when we were on our last little trip and found out their was one about 20 minutes away.
DH liked it so much that he chose it for his birthday meal.

Thursday, we ended up returning to the sushi restaurant that I mentioned earlier. Like the previous night, they gave us complimentary tempura crab, which DH enjoyed. I ordered the sparkling sake again & DH had an old fashioned. We then ordered the delicious Dragon Egg that we went for, followed by Salmon Belly nigiri & Tobiko.

Last night, we had shrimp alfredo fettucine w/ tomatoes & spinach & toasted Italian bread.

Tonight, I'm making chicken & rice w/ black beans.

We had leftovers of the pork roast that I made in the crock pot on Monday night. I made new sides- scalloped potatoes and green beans. It was as good as it was the first time. Great recipe, soy sauce, honey, garlic, parmesan cheese, pour it over the pork than cook on low for 6 hours.

I've been out of work all week with a horrible eye issue. Uveitis. Its an inflammation in the eye. I have had migraine level headaches on the left side, horrible light sensitivity. To the point of sunglasses in the house. Steroid eye drops every 2 hours. Ibuprofen every 6. It gives me some relief for about 2 of those 6 hours. Ugh. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

I hope your eye heals soon.

Wishing for a speedy recovery for you!

I ended up having steak, baked potato and side salad at Cheddars. ( found out there are 4 in the state.)
Accidents everywhere on the way there. We had 4 cars driving from various locations and 3 cars had slow downs.
We had a good time, although it was very loud.

Now on to prepping for Easter!!

Happy Sunday! It is going to be 50 today. I’m planting peas this morning I’m excited to get something planted.

We are going to grill for the first time this season. DH is having ribeye and I’m having a tuna steak with mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus.
