Looks more like tart than cookie…
Those cookies look delicious!!!
) and the last few odds and ends of holiday decor up so something I only have to warm up in the microwave sounds great.I'm impressed! I've barely started shopping.depends on where in town dh wraps up his first Christmas shopping outing. I asked him to call and let me know what neck of the woods he's in so we can choose a fast food place. he's out shopping, I got all my wrapping done (including stocking stuffers) and the last few odds and ends of holiday decor up so something I only have to warm up in the microwave sounds great.
tomorrow-i have been craving jambalya but I am not into all the time and effort it entails so I am going to try and experiment with some shrimp and andoulli I had in the freezer. going to use my recipie's seasonings and vegetable componants, add the shrimp and andouii but do it up as more of a sauce into which I will toss some pasta.

That sounds really fun!Tonight is our annual progressive Christmas party with our neighbors. We go to three different houses - drinks and apps at the first, entree (& drinks) at the next and dessert (and, likely, more drinks
) at the last house. For the first time in quite a few years, we will not be one of the houses hosting. We'll provide some apps, but we wanted a year off from hosting this year.
You're so organized. Wanna do my shopping?I'm shocked myself. I'm usually at least doing the stocking stuffers a couple of days before Christmas but this year I took advantage of both walmart and target having holiday (and non holiday) return start dates much earlier than everyone else so that helped. I also did'nt end up with allot of odd shaped stuff. i've got a few items from Amazon that should be here Sunday that i'll do same day, gift cards I need to get (easy-i use the little reusable tins) and then I just need to figure out a couple more stocking stuffers for dh (i'll be at the retro toy store next week so maybe I can find another 'action figure' (god help you call them dolls) to keep his 6 million dollar man company.
I have no clue what I'm buying most people & only have a couple ideas for DH & DS.

Lucky you. I have a list full of people who never know what they want for Christmas. When I ask, I get "I don't need anything." "I can't think of anything." "Anything is fine." or "Surprise me."organization has nothing to do it-having adult children with VERY specific interests in anime and d&d who provide very detailed wish lists makes a huge difference (though I did manage to sneak in a few bluey items in for one and a couple of silly small appliances for the other).
You did inspire me to order a couple things for DH & order DS's Santa gift. Yes, Santa still visits our 33 year old. I don't see that changing as long as DH or I either one are able to make it happen.
