What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Had dinner at a Greek place last night with the family, I had pasta with a lemon sauce with artichokes, Spinach, roasted pine nuts and shrimp. It was really good. Baklava for dessert.

Dinner was traditional but catered from a local restaurant, BIL arranged it and we ate at his house.
Turkey/Gravy
Mashed red skin potatoes
Butternut squash casserole
Stuffing (that I didn't eat)
Caesar salad
Dessert was
cookies
pumpkin cheesecake
regular and Dutch Apple pie
Pecan Pie

Homemade macaroni and cheese, bagged Cesar salad. Dessert was a Chantilly Cream Cake (bar) with fruit topping from Sam's (which is surprisingly delicious, doesn't taste "fake" or greasy at all).

We are having traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday as DD had to work today. My nephews will be coming up from Southern Maine to join us.

I’ll repost my menu from the Thanksgiving menu thread.
We hosted 12 people today for dinner. Lot’s of fun & shenanigans were had…

Starters: warm artichoke spinach dip with pita chips & a large charcuterie…2 meats, 3 cheeses & all of the fun accompaniments. Ie, crackers, jam, olives, almonds, berries….

Mains: 2 large Turkey breasts done on the Traeger & a honey baked ham

Sides: Mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, roasted sweet potatoes, pan seared green beans w/ bacon & garlic confit, stuffing, sourdough rolls, orange cranberry sauce & a harvest salad.

Desserts: pumpkin & pecan pie and a cookie tray.

I made everything from scratch except for the rolls. They came from my neighbors home bakery. 🥰🦃🥂

We are supposed to be 7 for supper, but it's looking like only 4, or maybe even just the two of us. I was planning on leftover corn chowder but there isn't enough for 7, so I also made a tortellini soup. Good thing it all "keeps" well... 3 gallons of soup is a lot of soup for just the two of us!
Also greens w/lemon dressing and Grands biscuits (bought 2 rolls but will only use one... or none if it's just DH and me).

>I think everyone is worn out from yesterday, and with more "family weekend holiday celebration" to come on Saturday and Sunday, they just need a break. I get it... and the soup will keep.
