Starting tonight, we have nearly a week of celebration dinners...
Tonight - my boys and I are taking my wife out for a retirement celebratory dinner, as today marks her unofficial last day of work for her career (technically, she works Monday, but really won't have much she needs to do).
Saturday - dinner out with my best friend (and the family). It's our annual Christmas tradition of
Straight No Chaser in concert.
Sunday - Christmas dinner in PA with my side of the family. My mom will make an Italian feast
Monday - Christmas dinner at my BIL's house. I think they're also making Italian, so we'll be carb'ing up for a couple days
Christmas Eve morning - brunch at our next door neighbor's house. I need to make Monkey Bread in the morning for that.
Christmas Eve dinner - Prime rib dinner. We invite the same next door neighbors over for the night.
Christmas Morning - French toast casserole and sausage egg casserole.
Christmas Night - Turkey dinner - once again, we invite others who don't have elsewhere to go. This time, good friends of ours who's kids are out of town.
December 26th - food coma and let the diet begin
