Chicken sandwiches with tomato, mayo, mozz, greens
Interesting. I've never heard of roasted blueberries. How do you roast them & what do they taste like? We've recently acquired two huge blueberry bushes. I'll be looking for lots of different ways to serve them.We are headed to our friends pool for the day. I’m bringing cheese platter, crostini with whipped ricotta, and roasted blueberries, and corn on the cob.
For the meal we are having hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled shrimp, corn, pasta salad, green salad, and fruit salad.
No idea what we are having for dessert, one of my friends is going to try something new.
I took a pint of blueberry and put them on a foil lined baking sheet (to make cleanup easier) I squeeze the juice of a lemon on and drizzled with a heaping tablespoon of honey. Stirred and cooked at 400 degrees for 7 minutes, put in a bowl and let cool.Interesting. I've never heard of roasted blueberries. How do you roast them & what do they taste like? I’ve had good luck infusing vodka with blueberries, vanilla, and pineapple. Raspberries were not good, it was super bitter. Thanks for the tips. I'll give the berries a try soon, but we'll probably try the vodka first.![]()

At the holidays I crush small candy canes and infuse with that. I do small bottles and give it with fancy hot cocoa mix as a hostess gift at the holidays.
I hope you enjoy it!
