buzz for boys

Today we were hitting the low that follows the ultimate high of the last few days but I refused to be sad so we all had a group hug and agreed that the photos would always make us smile. Then it was down to the buisness of having some fun!!
It was still cold today but the biting wind that had crippled us yesterday seemed to have died down a bit so we were hopeful that jackets were going to keep us warm!!
The boys requested another day at Hollywood Studios and Keira was longing to see Buzz again so deal done. I left wayne ironing clothes and getting kids ready to go out and just popped to get some more supplies from Wal mart.
I was very excited to find some gluten free pancake mix !!
Back at the villa and the boys were all ready to go so we piled into the car and headed straight off !
First stop was Andys room but the CM told us that Buzz wasnt going to be there until 4 pm so we decided to head back over for then !! A few spins on Toy Story Mania soon wiped the frown off Keiras face!!
Then we popped onto the Backlot Tour which scared the life out of Ben and at one point I thought he was going to run out of the vehicle when the fire came !! He says he wasnt scared he just didnt want to get wet !! YOU DECIDE
The movie props seemed to capture the imagination of our kids and they really studied them and even read the plaques that explain what they are from!! Oh yes my kids didnt recognise Alien - now thats how to make you feel old isnt it ??
In the shop as we exited Cameron found a Best brother award and really took his time presenting it to Daniel - He even listed the reasons why he had decided Daniel had won the award!!
Then Cameron wanted to check out if the star wars ride was by any chance working again!! It wasnt but he was happy to have read the sign for himself!!
We did however pose on the starwars racer!
Then there was a lovely surprise. In the area that is normally the line for Star Tours Darth Vadar and the stormtroopers had appeared for a meet n Greet ! The boys were bouncing and im sure i heard one of them squeal with delight.
The stormtroopers are so funny and its amazing how when they tell people to move - people move!!
So next on our list is Block Party Bash I know it has its critics but we enjoy it as it is very high pace and I knew Keira was going to love the permission to dance along!!
We grabbed funnel cake and coke floats and then sat on the steps of the American Idol attraction - a fab spot to sit and wait for the parade.
Coke floats were all discarded as disgusting!!! Whoever thought of mixing coke and Ice cream?? YUK YUK YUK
We really enjoyed the parade as expected but the highlight was definatly the army men -every single one of them noticed Keiras outfit and shouted out to her " Hey Its Mrs LIghtyear " "Look Its Buzzs Girlfriend!" and "wow you are the cutest spange ranger Ive seen today!" she was beaming and pretending to be shy but really loving every second of it!!
The cm that was supervising the parade then came over and asked about Keiras dress she told the boys that they should have another turn on Tot but when the ride is up flick a coin in the air she said it will suspend in mid air until they return from the fall and they will be able to just take it out of mid air!!
The boys loved this idea so we raced over to Tower of Terror to discover it was down today due to technical difficulties !!
I have never been so relieved in my life - once on Tot a trip is enough for me !!
So it was now 3.30pm and we knew we needed to head back to Andys room if we were going to meet Buzz today. It was definatly a good call to go early as the line was already pretty long and the characters were not even there yet!!
WE busied ourselves talking to other guests and Keira kept disappearing to peer longingly through the door in hopes that buzz lightyear soon would be there!
The line opened bang on 4pm and we got to take pics with the fun props in here!!
Keira however was getting noticeably tired and we had to keep making sure she stayed awake so we could keep our promise of meeting buzz !!
She soon woke up when we reached the front of line -
Woody was not impressed that noone was dressed as him and was even less impressed when Daniel said he does have a woody tshirt he just didnt want to wear it !!
We were in with them for ages and it was worth the wait as we all exited with huge grins on our faces !!
Another spin on Toy story Mania and then we decide it really was time we thought about leaving.
Keira saw Handy Manny so we had to go say hi !!
Then with big smiling faces we exited the park just after 6pm so we could go back to the villa for food and a warm up !!
