I woke up today feeling like I was walking on air!! The day we had been waiting for was here but before we got anywhere near Tna Wrestling we had a full day to fill and for me to keep a secret required a miracle!!
I just kept getting the urge to shout at Cameron You are meeting Jeff Hardy today!! Whoop whoop
Sensible head screwed firmly into place and Ben and I head back to celebration market so he can collect the picture he ordered and whilst we were out I was heading to walmart to get a cooked chicken for lunch !!
Well on the way from Celebration to Walmart we spotted a Krispy Kreme I was so excited that on the way home we crawled up the 192 until we had pulled into the krispy kreme and skipped to the door !! Today was getting better all the time!!
When we returned to the villa the others were ready for a dip in the pool! So Ben joined them as I made lunch and served it outside on the patio in the sun!
Just perfect.
At 4pm we told the kids it was time to head to Tna wrestling and they all got ready so quickly and lined themselves up at the front door anyone would think they were excited.
Cam had dressed himself in every Jeff Hardy item he owned and he didnt yet even know he was meeting him. He made a comment about wishing we had found facepaint so he could look like Jeff Hardy ! A comment that only really became poignant a few hours later.
So we arrive at Universal and my legs seem to be like Jelly I really was so nervous and none of the kids seemed to pick up on the fact that I was acting weird.
The arrangements for the meet were really simple I just had to call a number and say we had arrived!
Wayne and I had decided that once we were told everything was going to work out we would tell Cameron what was happening.
Now as soon we got to the area that Tnawas in Cam started really moaning about letting him go and ride Rip Ride Rockit after all we had 2 hours till the wrestling started and he didnt understand why we had to be here so early.
I looked at Wayne and we knew the phone call had to be made Now before a meltdown started!!
A quick phonecall to the most amazing lady (ALeta) who said that she would be out to find us in a few minutes.My heart was racing this was actually going to happen to us!! Things like this dont happen to people like us !!
We called Cameron over to us and Wayne told him he the reason he couldnt go into Universal was that a lady was on her way to come and get us so he could meet Jeff Hardy. His Jaw really did drop open and my eyes filled with tears as I saw him try desperatly to process what he had just been told.
I gave him the email to read so he could read for himself what we already knew.
He then quietly sat on a wall with the look of complete and utter shock on his face. No sooner had he started to process the information than Aleta turned up and said Lets Go !!
We walked through a secret entrance to Tna and behind the scenes. Cam and the boys immediatly spotted the steel cage and she let them admire it for a minuteor two before moving us through to an area that was like a hub of excitement and organisation for tonights live show.
Aleta explained that we were standing in the area that every single wrestler had to walk through so as soon as one passed us she would grab them so that we could meet them!!
Now I know zilch about wrestling and could not tell the difference between staff and wrestlers however I did recognise in the distance a very familiar face - Jeff Hardy.
Before we met the main man we saw an array of superstars and the kids were just buzzing Including keira who wowed them all with her knowledge and it became a game asking her if she knew who it was !!
Mr Anderson spoke to the boys for ages and they happily posed for pictures
The pope asked the kids if they would prefer to see him when he is in all his bling but the kids just said it was amazing to see him in the flesh and it didnt matter what he was wearing !
As we were standing there the Macys parade started to come in as the storage area is shared with Tna wrestling so Kiera was very excited to see the Grinch Santa and a who!
But by far the best interaction from the parade staff was from Max the Grinchs Dog. He was soo cute and really well behaved and the kids were laughing happily as Max jumped onto their laps for photos! Eventually we get a picture where dogs and children are all looking at the camera.
Well ok 4 out of 5 isnt bad though ??
So back to the real superstars and Aj styles makes an appearance. He is an arch enemy of Jeff Hardy so he stayed in character and really does not like Cams outfit much to the amusement of the lads who clearly knew why he was acting up! At the time I was quite confused!!
I realised at this point that I was grinning like the cheshire cat and I just couldnt stop!!
When we had arrived the kids were all asked who their favourite wrestler was and Ben and Dan had said RVD! Keira had said Carlito but he wrestles for the rival company so we skirted over that quickly!!
So you can imagine my delight when Aleta shouted RVD over. Daniels little face went bright red and his little face lit up with the biggest smile ever.In that second in time his dreams had come true and he was shaking like a leaf.
RVD asked him if he knew the pose of the best superstar in the world and Dan instantly shot his thumbs in the air in the RVD pose!!
Ben was beaming and trying to hide the fact that this whole experience was getting more beyond words with everything second that passed.
As you can see even Wayne met his idol today and the grins on everyones faces was just amazing.
Aleta did say if at any point I wanted to get in a pic she was happy to take them- I had to let her in on the secret that I didnt actually know who they were!! She laughed so hard and said I like you more and more !!
Then out of nowhere Jeff Hardy appeared and told Cameron he was going to paint his face for him!!
Cameron was so stunned he just nodded at him and looked in awe as Jeff started to work on his face.
I will never forget that moment it is the most surreal thing to watch your child meet his ultimate hero and then for that hero to so matter of fact just start painting his face as though its the most natural thing in the world. Tears fill my eyes just thinking about it.
Cameon was shaking from head to toe and we kept trying to calm him.
Jeff was so good at putting cameron at ease just working away on his facepaint and telling him how glad he was that we had made it out to meet him! When he had finished he showed Cameron his handy work and all Cam could say was WOW!
Jeff Hardy has an entrance dance that Cam has perfected so we prompted Cam to show him what he could do ! To our amazement Jeff Hardy joined in with him and was smiling at Cam!
Jeff had no side to him no arrogance or ideas of grandeur he was just the most genuine bloke. He scooped Keira up in his arms at one point and just declared she was the cutest little thing he had ever seen!! I mean really how amazing is that ??
After posing for pictures Jeff sat on the floor with Cam and they were chatting away about titles and title belts. Jeff told him to wait for one second and he would be back!! He then disappeared into the distance. Rhino came over to say Hi and told the boys they should support the best and realign their alligance to him!! Their faces pretty much told him NOT A CHANCE!!
Jeff hardy came back with his title belt and let all the kids hold it and pose with it. Keira held it high up above her head and declared " Look Jeff Im strong!!"
He laughed and just said "Yes You are!"
After talking to cam for a little longer he said he had to leave to go get ready for the match but he gave all the kids a mega hug before leaving us all reeling from the most magical 45- 50 minutes of our lives.
Aleta moved us on now and showed us behind the scenes. The tiny locker room had Cam wowing again - he truly was living the dream!!
Then we were shown to our seats we were sitting with the Popes mom!! We could not be front row as the kids were too tiny so we had to be 2nd row but really we were so close to the ring it was just amazing!!
We sat here and Aleta came behind me and asked if everything had been ok ?
I told her everything was more than perfect and my eyes welled up with tears ! She was so sweet and asked if she needed to find me a quiet corner to hide ? I told her I wasnt allowed to cry as too many tears had been shed this year. she leant over and gave me a massive hug and told me to wave if I changed my mind !!
The wrestling was a pay per view so was live across the world and I have to say I actually quite enjoyed it. The kids were all shouting and raving and knew all the chants ! Even my litttle Princess stood on a chair was waving her hands frantically and shouting Lets GO Hardy !!
IN his match he fell out of the ring and Keira shouted to him " You ok Jeff?"
As he stood up he winked at her! On winning the match he pointed at his title belt and then at Cam and smiled at us all jumping about shouting our approval.
Cam was in heaven Jeff had won the belt for him!!

It was an amazing night and ive really struggled to put it into words. All I can say is for every low this year with Cameron, this more than made up for it and was the ultimate high!!
We eventually got into bed still buzzing from the experience at 3am! Cam was sleeping on a towel and making sure he didnt lie on his face as he wanted to keep that face forever now!!
I will never be able to thank Tna enough they made sure that all my children were included in thsi mega experience. I will remain forever grateful to Me&Dee the 1 woman charity who made all this possible. A precious memory for us all x x x
