Day 4
Post 26
Welcome to New Orleans!
I won't go into detail of our LONG day looking and searching for what we would eventually call our home. I will say that we did not find it on this day and we did not like any house we saw!

We were beat and so ready to call it a day! So, let's just start the day with the Disney fun!
Our realtor, Michele, who is totally awesome by the way, dropped us back off at "The Doom Bugy," which was still parked at All-Star Sports, so we could make our way over to Port Orleans-French Quarter! Oh, and I also have to tell you that we did get the windshield fixed on "The Doom Bugy"! Yay!

I'm so happy it is back and looking good!
We couldn't wait to get to the new resort! I knew it would be beautiful and couldn't wait to spend three nights here! We'd actually have time to just enjoy the resort too, which is rare on a WDW vacation.
I had heard wonderful reviews about Port Orleans and chose the French Quarter because I thought the rooms looked so beautiful on the website! We arrived when the sun was just going down and I was so glad to have a free night just to relax! I knew we'd be up early the next morning to start our house search once again!
Port Orleans-French Quarter was just gorgeous! It is at the top of my list now as one of the best resorts and it's a moderate!

We decided to splurge and go with a moderate for half of our trip because we were there during the "Value Season" now because Thanksgiving was over and it wasn't close enough to Christmas yet, but we still got all the amazing decorations!
We checked-in and made our way to our room! We lucked out and got an amazing room on the bottom floor on the corner, so we got two large windows! I wish I had known how big the windows were and that we would have two because I would have brought a lot more DIS decorations!!
Our room was amazing! I couldn't believe how nice and big it was! The bathroom by far was my favorite part! I couldn't believe how large it was and the amount of storage space we had! We also had a nice sitting area by the two windows, which was just perfect with a wonderful view! DH & I were very impressed!
We also found many hidden Mickeys in our room! Here are a few that we noticed right away!!
I started unpacking our bags and the first thing I had to do was decorate our windows, DIS style, of course!

The Boys were so excited about helping me decorate the windows! Chip 'n Dale decided they wanted to play in the window and wave to everyone walking by them!
